By popular request, I'm going to grind this one single deck to see if I can hit me some legend! My Website: day9.tv/ Me on Twitter: / day9tv Find me on Facebook: / day9tv Fancy Day[9] Swag: day9.tv/store/
Pro Tip from Sean: Always make sure you play all your minions BEFORE you ping your sheep to do 2 damage to everything. That way sheep does more damage :D
In that case I believe he did that order so that he could play his magma giant for free since the Zombie Chow deathrattle healed him past 10. Without that order he wouldn't have been able to play all the giants.
It was the right play. If he hadn't played Molten first, the Zombie Chow would have healed him up, thus making the Molten cost more and leaving him with not enough mana to do everything he wanted that turn.
This deck is really like a strange rollercoaster. You start on Mt. Everest, then you move on 10 000 meters under water and then you somehow fly off the charts and leave the entire galaxy. You DESERVE to get to legend for making this deck.
Michael Cummins I feel like they just need to nerf Molten Giant to 25 cost. In the right deck it is just so strong. Echo clearly needs some reworking so going to leave that alone.
K Jones well when all said and done with IB you can sit back and not worry about getting to the point where its lost cos you have the space buffer. as far as i can see the only way to beat this deck, is by not touching him till you can deal 21+ dmg. that way no moltens, no echo which means you stand a chance.
This is a scary deck, lose lose lose aaaand then suddenly win the game. I think this kind of deck is only made possible thanks to iceblock. Without that ridiculous secret this entire deck would crumble.
They really should've made the Muster for Battle animation more interesting. Like a voice commanding "Assemble!" and then several voices going "Reporting for duty!" when the recruits appear or something!
This deck is sick. It's a superior Handlock deck... you get the giants of Handlock, but the delay of the Mage, and way superior card draw. I mean, at 10 health with Echo of Medivh, you throw down four 0-cost Molten Giants and maybe an Ice Block. Opponent has to deal 24 damage to the board or die from Alex + double Molten Giant. The opponent has to save his removal for it or bust.
Alexandre Gareau Handlock has a shorter setup time than Echo Mage which has a safer setup time. The end goal is the same: stall the game long enough for your to utilize the large hand and low health to flood the board with giants.
Imo I would rather see some more new decks than just laddering. But I guess there is time for that later. Would love to see you resurrect the King of Manners
mZStarCraft Also Malorne would work really nice, as if both are running out of cards you essentially have an immortal 9/7 Edit: Also got the new Grove Tender.
Yes. The new possibilitys for Druid mill are awesome. But after some games I realized, that you still need to draw the coldlights and the naturalizes to succeed. If you do it's very powerful, but if you don't your chances aren't that high. It also needs other cards that can win you the game and with the many hunters and zoolocks around it's difficult to be good with that deck.
Brendan Beckett Exactly. There are a surprising number of people in the comments talking about nerfs, but the new meta hasn't even established itself. The same way BGHs proliferated due to handlock, Kezan Mystic will be the reaction to deal with this deck. Even without this type of deck spreading, it's probably already worth putting 1 of them in your deck anyway.
Have you considered coldlight oracle to get close to your combo end game? I sometimes found myself not hitting those key cards and upped my winrate swapping thalnos for a coldlight
use more draw in the deck to maximize mountain giant synergy, best would be 10ish cards by 5 mana like warlock idk if thats realistic for mage draw option
I could see a little mayo on a Turkey sandwich after Thanksgiving / Christmas, but on other sandwiches it's disgusting, almost as gross as people that use it on Fries.
First I thought this deck was funny or probably fun to play it but now I think it's just nasty.. 1-2 turns away from loosing and opponent almost full health, bam! win the game, meanwhile the opponents are just, wait.. what just happened?
How are these players high rank and so bad. Sean plays Molten, and they go like "well i guess i just want to tickle his face . . . you know , to make the other moltens even cheaper" . . . I know that agains Ice block you want to burst down so you can activate it as soon as you can but that is not how you play against it. The Mage played well but just was unlucky, both by Sean drawing the other molten and Rag hitting face.
