Love the videos, been watching them all from the start seems abit sad watching someone do the job you do yourself but ive picked up some easier ways of working from you and youve got a the same personality as my first boss when i did my apprenticeship, was laughing so much when the tenant opened the tap upstair! Keep the videos coming !
Watching your videos I've realised all the years I had been paying BG to service my boiler it had never really been serviced 🤦🏻♂️ What was the reason for the cistern swap?
Not properly sorry🤦♂️. The cistern change.. you know what .. I can’t remember 😂🤣😂... customer bought it asked me to change it.. was ages ago sorry mate 👀👀
@@drpipe yeah well I was a young naive homeowner! Now not so young and found a great local gas guy. Only asked on the cistern as I swapped my downstairs loo over yesterday, constantly running on into the pan and on inspection hairline cracks around the flush valve.
Doctor Pipe , what % of your repairs are mainly caused by A) lack of maintenance B) poorly installed products. Also about how many hours would you spend editing a 15 min vlog ?
@4:20 "Quoted for this job a coupla years ago and I didn't get it because, apparently, I was too expensive". Now I'm here to fix it cos it wasn't done properly. If a had a penny........ That WB flu leak. What sort of flu terminal was fitted m8? That vent to the rhs looks rather too close for a conventional flu.
Why wouldn’t you leave the pan in take off the wing nuts lift the cistern remove the fill an replace it that way was on a flexi an it’s 3/8 cos it’s European sizing
Boiler like everything nowadays not made to last fecking hate it about the plumbing industry. U got a boiler up and running by cleaning the pilot light probably hadnt been touched in years . Then repairing a seal on a boiler that's only a few years old that could have destroyed the boiler in weeks 🤷♂️
I really dislike toilets like that geberit total wank design. I normally use the pan connectors with the jubilee clips on too. Too many misformed outlets on toilets now days.
