How to Diagnose Flashing 80 on a main system boiler, Vaillant Ecofit Pure issue and Test, And Turbomax all part of this weeks Thanks for watching. www.drpipe.co.Uk for Gizmos for Heating engineers.
Excellent video after passing my acs yesterday first time..and I'm looking forward to these day to day findings..may i just say after watching your videos from day one this is is what prompted me to want a career in the gas industry and I have learned so much for your videos..thankyou and keep the content coming..
Nice one Doc , I’ve had numerous faults on those pure boilers that I’ve fitted within weeks of install cheap and nasty and I won’t fit them anymore , even a vaillant engineer told me they are shite Cheers mate...👍
Over the last 18months I’ve fitted over 250 of these boilers & had 1 that wouldn’t fire out the box. We use EBus & Vaillant Controls, turn-down the CH output. They’re all Text Book installations & we commission them correctly. By the way Vaillant Training in Scotland is completely shite! They provided ‘Lunch’, 8 Engineers fighting over a plate of curled up sandwich’s😂😂😂😂
We fitted hundreds of the pures at my last firm I was the service engineer at. One cracked heat exchanger and a couple of leaking diverters are the only failures I saw.
Currently slinging in these Vaillant combis, great wee boiler, but you do need to check the combustion readings & adjust accordingly. Another good video Doc👍👍
@@drpipe The now learned Skool of thought is; Ali for On/Off Controls & SS for Open Therm etc Doc. My own preference when it comes to boilers is Intergas, these boilers are so diverse & reliable. They’ll still be in use in 30-40 years.
@@TheDickPuller sounds like that could be the most Environmentally friendly solution to all our probs... just a shame nobody listens to logic and us 😂🤣 oh did u just say it’s all about 💰 😂🤣😂 Think you and I could do a Fab podcast 💪😂🤣😂
@@TheDickPuller Just serviced an intergas recently and I was impressed by the build and simplicity. Haven't had to swap any parts yet though! Seemed a bit tight at the bottom.. The extreme looks good with the built in FGHR System. i think either Intergas, Atag or Navien for my own boiler next time.. Can't decide!
Hi. The boiler still doesn't work after the PCB has been replaced. There is no sign of life except for the green LED (stand by). The boiler has not been used for 4 years. Do you have any idea what might be broken. Thanks for any suggestions . BAXI 35/80 IE
The air intake to the fan is missing, it won't run correctly with out it and you cant test combustion with out it fitted. I have loads of these and Glow worm versions installed, been fitting them for a good five years now and have never had any breakdowns.
I have just had a boiler service £70. All that was done was readings checked and a bit and expansion vessel checked for air!! I wanted a proper check like you do. When I asked for a ‘winter service’ check I got told we don’t do that by the engineer. But the boss quoted me for it!
@@aj7303 no not at all! That’s why I queried it. I would never underpay a qualified engineer for the work that they have/should be doing. It’s thanks to these sorts of channels who give us an insight into your jobs. I know your qualifications and certificate to work on gas it’s not cheap!!
These boilers are straight trash. Just paying for the Vaillant badge. Just my opinion though. 🤷♂️ Edit: the eco fit. That Tmaxplus is a classic, exp vessel not ideal tbh; maybe that’s why most boilers now have access from front.
