It’s about right mate. Some customers have no idea. Presumably you quoted the works and she accepted before you started! Plus you went back FOC, so in effect have lost money on that job!! What’s your hourly rate plus percentage mark up on materials out of interest?

@@mynameis9739 That's what I thought, I asked a few other plumbers and also researched it and thought that was a decent price. And yeah labour was about £60 - £70 for a job which took roughly 2 - 3 hours as I had to move her old machines, all her rubbish (It was a filthy place) and even had to wait 30 minutes for her to turn up late.

@@jamieriggs9945 Yes quoted her the works, gave her a Quote via Email and she said she was happy with it as she is desperate! She even had 7 other plumbing firms tagged on her Facebook post so why she didn't get quotes from them either baffles me. Hourly rate I don't really have one as off yet, because I do plumbing (My trade) then I do other things I am qualified in such as Painting & Decorating and also odd little handyman jobs. I ask other peoples advice and do a little research and go from there, also where I am newly self employed I kind off knock 10% off other peoples prices at the start to get my name out there. Which with this customer clearly didn't work lol
