You should keep a folder of everything you need and a list of what you're going to need for renewing your Visa. As you print new documents you can put it in your folder and keep it all together until renewal day.

This was THE BEST VLOG for multiple reasons: 1. A classic day in the life with Emma like good old times :) 2. Your outfit was lovely and it suited you very well (black rollneck and oversized jacket) 3. Ikea as the ultimate comfort food and fun 4. The full bowl of frosted flakes that you were going to scoff right after not finishing you dinner because you're full ;) 5. The drawings at the end

"This is our trash can that we use as a table sometimes" LOL... :-) Anyway, I see that you chose the Tachikawa immigration bureau over Shinagawa. As you know, the wait to submit the application in Tachikawa is much shorter than Shinagawa but the wait to receive your visa is about three times as long. I stopped going there for that reason.

Missy Deluxe yes! That’s why I sent my application in earlier than I normally would. Gonna see how it goes and if the wait for it is too long I’ll just either go even earlier or go to shinagawa I guess! But honestly I never wanna go to shinagawa again 😭

Yeah I only went there once when I lived in Tokyo and glad I moved to Osaka as they were more friendly there and got 5 year visa on first renewal

I noticed that Chris Okano was fired and Chris Broad has severed ties and expressed regret that he ever joined TC on his Patreon page. Seems like we're seeing less and less of Sharla on TC as well. Your thoughts?

Hello! Just found your channel from tokyo creative. I noticed your sauce you used for dinner is basically teriyaki sauce which is one part Mirin, one part soy sauce and one part (cheap) sake with sugar to taste. Heat to dissolve the sugar. I make a large bottle and use it as needed!

It's kind of funny, In sweden pick & mix "plockgodis" is usually between 5-12 SEK per 100gram (around 50-120yen) with about 100 yen being the average price, and the prices going down for holidays like easter and christmas. In most cases it's pretty cheap. If you get pick & mix at supermarkets it's usually fresh, but at the cornerstores you sometimes get the stale stuff that's been lying around for some time. At the larger supermarkets there's probably around 100 different varieties of pick & mix. The IKEA store seemed to have a very limited selection of pick and mix :)

Awh, yay! Glad you had a smooth visa renewal process! I'm in the middle of the initial visa process for Japan and it is taking FOREVER!!! Like I was suppose to be flying out this week, but I don't even have my Certificate of Eligibility yet. Hoping some of your good visa vibes will spill out this video over to me!! lol But thank you for posting things about this, it's nice to see the special important things that expats have to go through. :)
