@@TokidokiTraveller they popped up on twitter a year after they quit, bascially saying they were happy with their life and getting on fine. From what I remember thety quit so they could have kids and a private life. I remember watching them too, and hope they are well :)

Yes, I definitely remember Grace and Ryosuke! Texan in Tokyo is still my favourite RU-vid channel of all time. I miss them, but at least we can still go rewatch their old videos. I'm just happy I found them before they quit, so I managed to buy all her comic books just in time.

I had literally just watched Texan in Tokyo yesterday because I was feeling nostalgic. They’re one of the first channels I watched before becoming interested in Japan after having an exchange student. And now I’m moving there next year ✨

I am having a hard time with mental health at the moment, I have run out of my antidepressant medication and can't get into my doctors until Monday, I have been without for a week or so and the withdrawals are making me feel all kinds of terrible. Your videos were such a calming distraction.

Texan in Tokyo was one of the first vloggers I watched. I was very sad when they quit RU-vid. I'm glad so many people enjoyed their videos. The stuffed peppers looked good. We stuff bell peppers with a spicy meat and rice mix. They freeze well and reheat nicely.

I always enjoy your cooking videos! All the bread items at that bakery looked amazing. I try to avoid bread, because I love it so much but it just makes me want more and more!! Plus it makes my joints hurt. (I'm over 50). In America, we make stuffed green peppers with a meat and rice mixture topped with a tomato sauce. I can do without the rice. But historically people used the rice to make the meat stretch further to feed lots of people. Stay well and be safe!

Just in time for my binging spree! Those shorts do look so roomy and comfy 💕 Will be catching up with your quarantine routine vids next to know what it was like on your side. The cooking segment was relaxing. I enjoyed how close to the ingredients you place the viewer, much easier to see and experience along side you. I love Japanese bakeries. In hiroshima there is an excellent 100yen bakery which sells lots stunning breads - i still dream of their vegetable topped flatbread and the staff were so lovely. If ever you are there, you should go. Its in the main arcade with Mr Donut and then you go through one of the side roads as if you are going to the departmental store (if that makes sense). I miss it so much!

That food you cooked, my family makes a similar thing but with bittermelon instead of bell pepper. Bittermelon is nasty as is, but there's a way to get most of the bitterness out and it basically tastes like papaya.

The face mask made me chuckle! And that bread looked sooo tasty! I'm lactose intolerant, so vegan options are really great when I want a nice snack :)
