Even thought I failed my NCLEX, I STILL don’t want to do bedside. I have so much stress at home, I can’t imagine going to work and putting on more stress.
@@quelquun2018 omg right?! Imagine the anxiety every time going into work on top of having stress at home.. there’s so many places you can work at that don’t require bedside
I walked by the cathlab at work the other day and it sparked my interest bc the ER has me burnt out... I want to learn more about what the Cath lab entails.. thanks for letting us get an inside look💕
There's just something so calming about your vlogs and even though I enjoy your tiktoks a lot I have found you on RU-vid and loved all your content so far. I am glad you are happier now that you changed section and wish you the best for th eholiday season, especially as a healthcare practiocioner (it's hard out there). Love your content and keep posting vlogs even longer ones I bet everyone will love them!
i love your videos, you’ve inspired me to start vlogging my own nursing journey as a senior nursing student. I got to work with some cath lab nurses during my clinical and it was a great experience!
Yas queen! 👑 I have been following you for a year now. I love your vlogs, tiktok vids and your Amazon shopping list. I am an oncology PCT and an aspiring nurse and I have done a tip or two you have mentioned. 😁 Maybe you can show a travel vlog next time with boyfie since you seem to travel a lot! 🤩 Can’t wait to see more of your content! xoxo
i’m going to school to be an rcis and in my hospital system nurses also scrub and rcis also circulate and give medicine. interesting to see it done a different way!
Love the video! How many years of experience do you need to get a job in cath lab? It is one of my interests as I gain my experience as a new grad. I currently work in a neuro ICU and am chipping away at my BSN. Thanks!
Hi , I saw you went to west coast do you recommend going into the program with your prerequisites or go in the program. I’m struggling to figure out the pathway I want to take
I hope you see this and answer lol. What made you wanna switch to a day shift and not wanna do night shift anymore? I’m a MA and I did a CNA program, during clinical I also didn’t really like bed side either. I’m hoping to be a RN. I feel dumb cause as cath lab I literally thought it meant like UAs lol 🥲 can you go a little more into detail please of what Cath Lab is? Also you ever think about doing L&D or NICU? Any pros and cons to that, May I get your input?
she’s inspires me so much, she is so positive, literally she’s the best. I am currently finishing a course to become a CNA soon 🤞🏽 and hopefully still continue to one day become a Nurse! 💗💗
That’s what I did. Worked as a nurse tech on weekends in the hospital for three years while I became a RN & raising 6 kids. I always tell people if I did it then I know anyone can! Good luck.
Uhmmm hello! You forgot to mention how much of a team player you are. & how awesomely quick you are on your feet, assisting in the actual procedures versus only giving meds!! & How you learned to make a bad a** Embolization table ☺️ to help your techs out.
How is it and what did you have to do to be hired inside a cath lab? I'm also looking into rad tech. What tasks do you have to do & are you working alongside the cardiologist or interventional radiologists?
This is such a great video! I’m 6 months away from graduating nursing school and I still am not sure which specialty I want to go in. My choice right now would be ER or Medsurg to get experience. What were the job requirements to work in Cath Lab? Thanks for sharing 💙
I think you mean cardiac versus interventional radiology... it really varies! Cardiac is faster pace and a little harder than IR. But typically the more critical patients will have anesthesia on the case and as the nurse its less work for you.
Hi I’m a nursing student and I’ve been in a relationship for 4 years and I want to do travel nursing. I just want to know how you juggle being a nurse and having a boyfriend. I’m worried I won’t be happy because he wants to be a teacher and he won’t be able to travel much.
Be careful with the peanut butter powder if you have dogs because it contains xylitol which is deadly in small quantities for our pups. It’s also in other things like mouthwash, toothpaste, gums, foods and especially sugar free/low sugar foods, etc. companies aren’t even required to label it so be very careful!
