I was a community service officer with Deputy Knox at Sacramento State University in sacramento. We work together for a few years around 2015 ish. Cool guy love to see that he's out and gotten into the job that he wanted.

NO NO NO! Deputy Knox is just another Oath Breaking Tyrant! Just because he has a soft tone and pleasant demeanor does not mean he is professional or respectful. The 1st clip of the traffic stop he almost immediately demands ID from passengers. 4th Amendment rights violation! The passenger has no clue about their rights and hands over the ID. I would 100% never never ever ever hand over my ID as a passenger unless I was breaking the law OR under the threat of arrest on video. It will take 1.5-2 yrs but I'll take my settlement $ from my fellow Tax Payers as LE does not care about lawsuits due to qualified immunity. And I'll take the $ guilt free like it's a tax refund to me. I can't believe you people commenting positive really feel he is a good Deputy. He is sneaky and deceptive and a master manipulator to get that ID like it's crack. Educate yourself people! It's "WE THE PEOPLE"

99% of law enforcement is just like Deputy Knox. They are not out to get people, only try to help people. Traffic stops are there to instruct people on how to correctly drive safely. It's not about given everyone tickets/fines. But you have to listen and show respect and not have an attitude and usually things work out and you just get a warning and some advise.
Seeing him talk to that lady about her relationship and the restraining order when the other deputy just brushed it off and walked away was cool to see. We need more LEOs who have compassion and want to actually help people.

For Example of paint style. Each type of Dept could apply Green all four white doors or just the Freon white doors and top of White with the color stripe that applies to the type of law Enforcment agency. Each Dept can have its own unique look with the colors foe each agency.
I was raised in Sacramento California and have lived here for 61 years So Sacramento County Sheriff's Department are my Boys don't disrespect them in any way please because they have a very thankless job where nobody likes them until they need them when your loved ones are in danger.
Love these, but you guys need a new camera or lense. The second call has soooo many dead pixels (the little white dots). You're a Sheriff's Office showcasing your department. You have a budget for a nice camera.
This type of color sceme standard would also make it much easier to ID CHP Sheriffs Department and city police cars during multi jurisdiction incidents such as a high speed chase from the air as well.
I actually really appreciate the female victim involved in the domestic violence case...she's really considering the cop's suggestion of getting a restraining order on the father and completely understands the impact it would have later on on her kids...I just think she is just like any other victim of domestic violence who feels helpless and conflicted with the situation she's in especially since she is unemployed...I just really feel for her and u can hear the desperation and sadness in her voice
He also said they were acting weird, which any LEO would probably pull someone over for looking suspicious. But its good he verified and they were okay to go. No one gets hurt and no one gets arrested. Perfect

Sacramento Sheriff’s dept. should change the color sceme of their cruisers back to Green and White like in the 1980’s? Or White with a Green stripe down the side like the San Francisco Sheriffs dept now has,so public can tell the difference from the Sacramento PD and CHP. Every type of police Dept in Ca should have their own standard color sceme. Green and White for all Sheriffs vehicles. Black and White for CHP only. And Royal or Navy Blue and White colors for City Police units. Each dept. can use their own color paint style,but the colors should match be blue and white for cities,black and white for CHP only and Green and White for all Sheriffs units statewide.

All of these 4th amendment warriors out here don’t realize he can still ask for id from passengers. The passengers don’t have to give id upon request unless for valid reason that’s the 4th 😂
good job Knox....just one quick item...is it not a new law that officers have to 12:03 tell people why they were stopped and not ask "do you know why i stopped you" - Assembly Bill 2773 - effective Jan 2024 other than that- fab job on tape....be safe out there and hire me!!!!! i can contribute to the community!!!
@devtheedudee916 Reading isn't your strong point is it? I didn't say they had to show ID I answered the ? Asked: why did he ask for ID. He asked them if they had warrants, they answered no and the officer accepted that answer.
@@danevannett3804 he literally took the back seat passengers ID after he said he had no warrants lol he should only be talking to the driver for a traffic infraction.
@@devtheedudee916he can talk to anyone he wants to. And he can ask anyone for their ID. Whether a particular person has to present it or not is a different matter.
He can request it from the passengers but they don't have to provide it Also to add, if a officer has probable cause to believe you were involved in a crime you as the passenger can be arrested even without id
