Great work Savana Hello from Australia.. i don't know how you do that while pregnant my trailer was so hot.. so glad i'm out of my trailer and grooming from home well done getting 8.14K subs we are slowing working our way up there currently on 4.2K can see you love your job
That never occurred to me as a mobile groomer you are forced to take a “break” because you have to drive. That’s smart to eat a snack before each pup. I don’t eat anything sometime I may eat a bar of something.
Anyway you could do a video on how you started your business? I am a groomer and want to start my own mobile grooming and just don't know where to begin! Love the videos!
Can you add in your videos of the daily trip with you? Maybe how long it takes you to do each dog. Going to start out doing this and I just don’t know how long it will take me since I’m coming from a brick and mortar not sure how my dogs will take. Right now my dogs come in on the hour.❤
I love this! I'm looking to get into dog grooming and start my own mobile business...but I'm so curious how you work with more aggressive dogs and how you approach that
Thanks for watching!! Good luck on your journey! I actually just made a video discussing how I handle difficult/aggressive dogs. 😊Here’s the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ewDrBKSf6eA.html
Honestly, I try my best to get them to jump from my table to the tub with my help but sometimes I have to lift them from table to tub and vice versa 😅 Clean up I just shop vac and wipe down all walls etc. When I get back to work I’m going to try a mosquito net trick for all my shedding dogs to help it now go on every inch of my van!
It’s just a scrub top! Hair does still kind of stick to it but I just use my dryer to blow it off quick. Fur sticks to it less than a regular shirt tho!
I honestly don’t like to :( I will only do it if the owners insist and after a conversation is had that it damages their fur and the owners know all of the implications!
That's my fur baby Miss Brix.... She shakes 24/7. Her fighting weight is 4.5 pounds. Our cats are 8 pounds plus so there's some competition in the household. One cat has the nickname Ninja... so you can imagine. Sometimes the shaking is excitement... We poured a glass of wine... so she may get a cheese treat... Cheese is her kryptonite - but the resulting gas..... not good.... She's shaking like a leaf anticipating cheese... If the doorbell rings, she shakes... If our neighbour parks his car on his driveway, she shakes... If the cat crosses Brix's rug, she shakes... She's really a neurotic ball of fur. She likes her routine. She likes her people. We've had a number of groomers over Brix's lifetime and Savanah has the gift of calming her down. Tonight, I was playing this clip for my husband. Brix heard Savanah's voice and she was woofing at the door telling me that one of the pack needed to be let in. Savanah is truly a skilled groomer, not only in technique but in keeping our pup calm and cared for.
That's my little Diva Miss Brix. She shivers 24/7. When your fighting weight is 4 1/2 pounds, you have some issues. I go in the kitchen and open the fridge - she's shaking in case cheese may be an option. The Cat steps on the rug... well Armageddon... We had a hot air balloon go overhead tonight and she's having a crisis. UPS FedEx, yeah that's an issue. Canada Post, Brix will chase them down the driveway. We have to pick it up at the post office because our DIva has frightened the carrier. UPS guy has a Pom. Brix thinks he's cool. Go figure. We've really missed Savanah on her mat leave... Brix freaks out when she goes to a Pet Salon. The number of dogs there really stresses her out. With Mobile grooming, it's way more comfortable. Savanah has gentle kind energy that Brix picks upon. I really can't recommend her enough. PS. If a Shepherd or Rottweiler meets us in the dog park, Miss Brix is in attack mode. Poms are such a mystery. But, we love her dearly. PPS. I was playing the clip of Savanah and Brix for my husband tonight. Brix was barking at the door telling me to let Savanah in. iPhones confuse her.
