I really appreciate the vlog. I love seeing how an actual surgical resident does their day to day. And then to edit a video on top of it. Love it love you. I’m a huge fan.
Always wondered how a surgeon spends their day, aside from the medical aspect its not much different from anybody else. Not particularly fond of hospitals, quite terrified of these places actually, but its really nice to see such a beautiful caring woman & Mom, happily doing her work helping people get better from whatever is making them sick. I'm sure you are a life saver and Angel to many people. Keep up the fantastic work!
Dr. Daisy eres mi mayor inspiración para ser médica. I took a gap year before applyig to Med school because I did not feel 100% prepared, but I am ready to give it my all. Your videos and tik toks always motivate me!
Can you make a video on how you balance everything like being so smart and beautiful and a mother and a wife and how you were pregnant I believe during medical school LIKE HOW I’m so inspired
@@thedaisysanchezplease do such a video. How do you manage to do it all, how you structure and plan your days? You are such an inspiration to so many of us! I can barely take care of myself and seeing you being a surgeon, be a mom, be absolutely beautiful, enjoy life, workout. WOW. I come back to your videos to motivate myself when I’m being super lazy.
Omg you have the most enjoyable laugh 😂 personality on point 👏🏻 when inner and outer beauty plus intelligence and talent meet.. this is what happens. Please never change Dr. Sanchez!!
Hey, I am still a college student, I am a freshman in college, going into my 2nd year of college. I always wanted to become a neurosurgeon, and being able to see the day in the life of a surgery resident has helped me understand more of what they do.
Hola bonita you are an inspiration to all latinas especialmente nosotras las Mexicanas 🇲🇽 I just got accepted to med school and wondering if you could do a video explaining what made you want to specialize in surgery and what you did during med school to make yourself a competitive applicant?
This is so cool! I want to go into pediatric surgery! As a surgical resident, are you allowed to have painted nails? I saw that they were painted in the video. I love my nails to be painted but I just wanted to know is that realistic? Great video! Thanks! 🥰
Hello Dr Sanchez,my name is Oreoluwa Adubi, I’m MS2 currently prepping for step 1. I wonder if you’re into mentoring. If you are what’s the best way to get a hold of you and just chat with you on my interest in surgery
I’m a 4th year med student and absolutely love the OR and everything about surgery, and everything ends up pointing to apply for surgery. The one thing that I’m hesitant about is I’m a single parent, and I’m not sure about the balance…what’s you’re experience been like (assuming you’re also a parent/guardian)? I hope this wasn’t an inappropriate question 🙏
Not inappropriate at all! If I'm being completely honest it's definitely hard! I don't spend as much time with my daughter as I wish I did! I do have a lot of help. Currently - I live with my bf. We have day care and a nanny to help during the day! All of that being said - do what you love and it will most certainly work out. Also - major props to you on being a single mom, that alone is absolutely amazing!
@@thedaisysanchez Thank you so much for your reply and for your words of encouragement! It's definitely been a challenging path, but filled with opportunities for character development and growth. I'm so grateful for my parents love and support they have for my son and I. I look forward to continue to follow your journey as a mom and surgical resident
I'm using my iPhone right now! I actually have a nice Sony but it's difficult to film vlogs since I'm running around a ton and it's just bulkier! I may use the Sony to shoot more Q&A videos soon!
