Loving your vlogs! I also teach 4th grade and recently decided I'm also going to start doing weekly "teacher vlogs" as well, thanks for the inspiration!! 😏
I felt exactly the same way about Pocketful of Primary's observation. The principal should have known what her timetable was so they were either planning to come in during testing time or during an unplanned lesson spot. Not the most sensible of things to do.
I'm 24 and on my last class before the nursing program but I can't stop thinking about being an elementary school teacher! I just feel like I would be so much happier teaching than working in a hospital.
What grade do you teach? I'm thinking of being a elementary school teacher! I'm thinking I would like to teach kindergarten or 1st grade! I'm only 19 so I still have time to figure out my degree!
You're very brave to put yourself out there, but could you be a bit more interesting? Your vlogs make teaching seem very boring. I' m a teacher and we both know teaching is an adventure or else we wouldn't be doing it. Show that in your vlogs please!
Aaliyah James oh the greatest invention? That's a pop socket they are normally about $10 but you can get them off the wish app for only a dollar or two it makes it very easy to hold your phone and to stand it up to watch videos or movies
Love watching your video on how you get back into the routine after winter break. I like how you focus on growth vs fixed mindset. I also teach 4th grade and I’m trying to help them have more of a growth mindset as well as be mindful over their emotions. Your video reminded me on what I need to focus on when we return after our current winter break since we start the testing crunch time season and their first state assessment is at the beginning of March. Thank you so much for sharing!
I am binge watching all of your vlogs, I'm obsessed!!! I'm currently going to school to become an elementary teacher, I wanted to teach kindergarten but you've definitely made me want to teach older!! Never stop vlogging, these videos make me more and more excited to become a teacher/decorate my classroom lol.
Just wondering, what was the reasoning behind only sending positive notes for 6 students only? Is it because they normally had negative behaviors so this was a new system you were putting in place to help improve how they act? I would appreciate your clarification! :)
