I worked at metro pcs for around 3 years and then T-Mobile for another 3. Very fun job. And i loved making sure people saved $$ and knew what they were paying for. It was a community and i miss my customers. Best of luck!!
Super helpful! I would only hope the store I applied to is this energetic. I suffer from depression so I thrive off the high energy of good people around me. It keeps me going in the lows!!!! You’re great!!!!! I’ll let you know if I choose Verizon ✌🏾🎁✨✨✨
@@vanessat.pittman5340 AT&T lol Verizon was on some weirdo commission trip. “We all share commission as a store” 🙄🤣 I was like huh..so these coworkers can slack off and that can effect my sales?! I’m out lol
I wanted to work there but don't want to work with rude people lol. I'm also a slow learner. The title is "Retail Sales Representative". Really been thinking about it.
I have an interview for them today for the same position. What is this team commission I'm hearing about? Is this true? No individual commission anymore?
It’s team based not individual but they raised the base from where it was when it was individual. Combined I make about 32$ an hour. I’m in Texas and have a Bilingual differential.
As a person currently working in Cellular retail and working on an individual commission structure, I can say it causes a lot of individualism and fellow coworkers to shark sales. It's really a shame to see a coworker who seems so genuine be so conniving when it comes to sales, new line activation or a big spiff. They don't care who they take sales from even if the customer comes in requesting another sales agent by name but that agent stepped out for a break, another sales representative will take it because in their mind they are doing all the work. 🤷
Hey how is the interview process? I submitted my application a couple of days ago. I’m super nervous about the interview haha. Do you remember any of the questions they asked? (:
A lot of behavioral questions. “Tell me about a time you dealt with a difficult customer” “tell me about a time when you struggled to achieve a goal, how did you overcome it”
Did you get the job? If so how much is the hourly pay rate in your state? I'm in Kansas and have interview tmr. Hoping and praying it isn't something ridiculous like $11/hr
@@ashleybrown9928 I did the interview yesterday HR is suppose to call me in the next few days. I haven’t heard anything about the hourly rate but I heard the salary is at least $40k. I live in FL btw.
I'm currently going through the application process right now. I pray I get the job. I am a Verizon customer and I love their customer service! This video is GREAT! I hope I get to become a part of the team.
I worked for verizon corporate for 11 years . I was the best customers service in the country and top 1% selling . I made winners circle 10 years in a row and president cabinet 3 times . I was making 120k a year . In 2019 they remove the commission for the purpose of greed . The new ceo literally took half of my paycheck for non reason ..i left the verizon corporate to work for cellularsales and i can tell you that i make over 160k a year and i just #3 . The others 2 are making over 200 lk and 220k . The #1 in the country is making 400k in atlanta Georgia. Cellularsales is the place to work but you have to be committed to make the best of your time since is 100% commission
What position are you in? Are you just a sales consultant or any management spot? Have you heard of Victra? What’s the pay structure like with CellularSales in your state?
What up maxxx,so my base pay is 16 an hour here in tampa...I start next week...how does the commission structure work?they never went over that with me
What's the difference between a sales associate & sales specialist? I'm trying to work for Verizon but I'm afraid the specialist is more of a very experienced person?
Hi, Is Verizon the same thing as Victra, ? they say I have a job and sending me to training in Douglasville Ga. is this true or a scam? please let me know..
Depends on what they have available. They are very big into selling mobile protection with every purchase. Also just know the new promos that come out. You can check that on info manager on your work device. Once you know promos and plans. Job gets a lot easier from there.
@@andrewvillarreal3980 thank you I appreciate it, I’m kinda nervous for my first day meeting the team lol hopefully I can keep this job for a long time though, is it good money ?
How's the job? & How much do they start at? I'm in Kansas and can't find anywhere the hourly pay rate and it's so frustrating lol my interview isn't until tnr
@@amitb1927are you still there? I come from the car business making 6-8k a month but working 60 hours a week , I have a interview with Verizon also in California. How much can one average TAKE HOME a month after taxes ?
My girlfriend signed me up for Verizon wireless, I got hired but still undecided to accept the job or not, One thing I see with most Cell phone stores they are boring with alot of downtime, I am a stay busy type of guy, I am still undecided whether to give Verizon a shot or not.
Are you sure that’s not a third party? Trust me you don’t get a lot of down time at a corporate store lol, also I don’t understand how one would sign someone up for this job. It can be difficult to get hired. They used to require bachelors degrees.
Ok cool! I was just wondering cause I’ve worked for places that gave you devices for the shift. They told me about a business line during my interview, I was just curious. Thanks! Looking forward to it!
@@isisayanna7584 heyyy isis I actually had an interview last week they said I’ll know something by this week my status changed from under recruiter review to under consideration am I closer to getting a job offer?
With no experience, I’m hearing the starting pay is 16.59 plus commission. I also found out you can negotiate your starting pay with your recruiter. Just don’t be pushy.
@@kevin_jay7 imma def try and negotiate something different Im 24 been working since I was 15. First job at Wendy's, became manager @ 18, left @ 21. Went to Walgreens during my pregnancy. Worked as a seasonal Stocker. Got offered a full time position as a store lead. Stayed there til 2021. Now I'm a QA tech & the schedule isn't working for me so I'm looking for something different. Hopefully theyl see my work history and help me out.
Pros - compensation and benefits. Both are some of the best in the industry. Mind you I’m telling you this because I’m familiar with att, spectrum and tmobiles. Also I love verizon because it’s VERY career orientated. Specially compared to the other carriers. EVERYBODY started as a rep. Like everyone I work with has been with the company for 5-20 years +. That’s always a really good sign. Once you hit solutions manager, that’s when the doors to other departments like operations or corporate really start to open. Even better if you have a degree. Also pro, tuition reimbursement I believe is $8k or $10k can’t remember. Also loads of vacation/personal time. Con - work/life balance is biggest con imo. There’s also other cons like customers can get annoying and needy but that doesn’t specifically only apply to verizon.
