Quick tip to save you loads of time getting plaster out of socket boxes, I always roll the T&E up in the box then cut out cardboard (you can have loads of these pre cut) the same size as the socket box, put this cardboard in the box in front of the screw lugs. Then let the plasterer do his thing, when you come back it’s an easy job to tap the thin skin of plaster off, remove the cardboard and pull out the cable and the 3.5mm screw holes are nice and clean also.
