Thank you for this video! I just started getting into using the roller ball essential oils. It's awesome to hear that they actually make a difference in the way you feel. Now I'm even more excited to keep using them!
You know so so much about oils. I have just recently joined YL and waiting for my starter pack in the mail. I am a baby to the oil world and a little over wellmed with it all. How did you learn about it all and know where to apply all the oils and also how do you know where to start when it comes to mixing your own. 🙂🙂
Young Living will give you some ideas and so should your enroller, and the people in Facebook groups you join. You'll learn quickly. This is a strong community that always helps each other out.
Regardless of oil and their effects I have sworn off of them since I was sick at Christmas and diffusing Olbas oil in my bedroom. The extra moisture in the air killed my laptop and now I'm just worried about frying different appliances in my house 😂
That was a fluke for sure. Most people who use oils around the clock even with technology have no issues. My diffuser is 3ft from my laptop and phone (bc that's where the outlet is) and everything's fine
Could you do a video or have you done a video on how to clean your diffuser? I Have tried the thieve dish soap which works lovely to get any stains off of it but I always feel like there is an oil residue.
I really like a couple essential oils purely for the smell...I rub lavender oil over my dryer balls and it gives my clothes a nice scent! However, I am skeptical of buying oils for the purpose of getting a certain feeling. How much of that is placebo effect - ie. placing any oil with a label that says "calming" will likely make you feel calm because your brain is tricked into expectation of calm. And that may not be a bad thing - if the act of placing essential oils on your body enhances your mood, go for it! No hate - just wondering what the science is between specific oils and the way they change your mood or behaviour!
Aromatherapy has SO many backed peer reviewed scientific studies!!! You obviously, haven't even tried to research this... Smell is one of the strongest of our senses!!!
Here is a really great video... aromatherapy has been backed by real science... not pseudoscience! Should you trade your antidepressant for lavender oil? Absolutely NOT! But oils can be very supportive for the emotions! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zackfqlOwZ4.html
So excited to get my YL starter kit! I have been diagnosed with neuropathy, and stiff muscles in my shoulders. My clinic wanted me to get x-rays, and take muscle relaxers. I decided to try and heal it naturally. The mix of peppermint and lavender has made a huge difference in my pain levels. Thanks for another great oil video Becca!
I had unexplained neck and shoulder pain and I was clenching my jaw when sleeping and it caused my other muscles to over work and gave me pain. Botox in my jaw muscles saved me. Not as expensive as you think and worth it
Crystal Jacobson it delays gastric emptying which means it makes you feel longer ( you will have a longer satiety). Also, fiber in foods helps your colon good for excretion, and so can help lower cholesterol. :)
As a former fan of cinnamon spice candles, when I first switched and smelled thieves, it smelled just like my fave cinnamon candle. Also paired with grapefruit in the diffuser mimics this same scent memory. 🤗
Anna Noronha yes, over time layers will build on the walls and ceiling leaving a sticky layer. It's impossible to paint over without deep cleaning every surface first. When I was touring open houses a couple months ago there was a house with this exact issue. The lady who lived there before was into oils for YEARS and tbh those walls were ruined. Hard pass on oils for me. Plus I have 2 cats so I'd rather have their exposure to harmful stuff at a minimum. I don't care if there's "safe" oils, it's just not a good idea
I've been hoping you would explain what you do for Hayden as I would be interested in using some for my daughter. Is 8 months too young to start? Also, endoplex (spelling?!) Do u know if you can use it if you have underactive thyroid? I have hypothyroidism so few things I need to be wary of x
8 months is not too little to start. Young Living has a whole line of baby products called the Seedlings line, which is the types of things you need from the newborn stage anyway (baby wipes, lotion, diaper cream, etc). There's also Gentle Baby and you could also use the kidscents line from Young Living (diluted for kids) but dilute that a little more for your baby.
Hello, I am trying to buy the kit that is under the this video but not able to. Looks like it blocks you once I put my email to go to check out. Is anyone having the same issue?
Hi Becca!! I am about to have my second baby in the next week or so and am curious what oils you would suggest for labor (both topically and diffused)? Also, any specific oils for the various stages of labor would be so helpful. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Thank you Becca for the information. I love how you describe the smells in the oils. I had to go and grab my stress away because I never noticed the vanilla in it before. It does have a vanilla undertone. I mixed it with valor and love the smell as well!
Young Living is a pyramid scheme. Buy a diffuser from Target and an assorted selection of oils and you can use them however you like wherever you like! I keep mine in my room and I use several scents during the daytime and lavender at night. Don't get stuck in a pyramid scheme!
@@user-zq9oc7hy9c Sorry you feel that way. I know some MLM's have a bad rep. Pyramid schemes are illegal! YL wouldn't be around for over 25 years if it was illegal! Oils from target, drug stores, etc aren't pure. Oils are an investment in wellness. To each their own but I love pure and clean oils and products in my home :)
McKenna Jackson Lmao pulling out the old "pyramid schemes are illegal" defense. MLMs skirt around this law by selling a tangible product (essential oils in this case), but a majority of corporate's profits come from their own sellers and recruiting practices. Take away the oils, and that is the EXACT model of a pyramid scheme. Normal people do NOT pay to have a job and most certainly do not have downlines to rag on 24/7 to keep yourself afloat. I'm sorry you've been conned into this business and I hope you'll see the light someday
