A tasty start to the day 😁 Did not take you for a red wine man Peter! Id have guessed a Tennets lager or possibly a Guinness kinda fella. Exquisite pole work as always, Trad boy has some serious skills to catch up on one day.

Lol ;) Just loads of practice buddy, I'm very stubborn, if i can't squeegee something, I'll practice till i can. Before doing this would of been a no no, but now i can do it easily. I try to encourage people that with time, effort and experience you can squeegee just about anything. (Within reason lol)

Where can i get that pole and the gloves i have seen you wear by the way you are class with the pole great work
@TradMan
@TradMan 4 года назад
For low trad work I'd recommend the red phantom trad pole from window cleaning warehouse. For high trad work you have a few options, the fully carbon phantom from WCW Or the ionic hydra Or you can use the Gardiner slx. The gloves are called showa thermal that I wear when it's freezing and I wear diy disposables when it's not cold.

Hey Tradman, great video and really insightful. Just had a question about the water you use, I've heard alot about filtered water in window cleaning but it looked like yours was straight from the tap? Do you have another filter built into the unit?
@TradMan
@TradMan 3 года назад
For wfp window cleaning I have the unger hydro power on top of a tank inside the van. For traditional window cleaning I use tap water 👌🏻

Hi mate just a quick question can you harvest rain water and filter it to clean windows to cut down water bills.
@TradMan
@TradMan 3 года назад
Absolutely! It will be much easier on your filtration system

I bought a moerman liquidater 2.0 felt it was to heavy kept getting stuck on the glass no matter how many times I tried I lowered my soap and even put more soap on it it was also no cutting in well it was the 14 inch so I’ve bought an unger 10 blade and no faults whatsoever

Hey m8 fellow scot trying to build up a wee windie cleaning business from strach .I used to do it in the past but I had ever worked with extension poles before as I do it old stool but alot of my customers 1st floor windows need one, so I bought the doca 12ft pole with squeegee. Practiced on own house and mmm wasn't impressed with the finish, I will need a bit more practice using it for sure but what do I do about marks detailing left to do on the high windows . Also was wondering what gloves you were using , at the moment i just have a cheap squeegee that you need spanner you lock nightmare lol. What squeegee etc would you recommend. And will the doca pole to me until whenever I can upgrade and what would you recommend I upgrade to.. Kind regards Ryan

I use a phantom pole from window cleaning warehouse. I use a Moerman Excelerator 2.0 complete with fliq washer. That tool gives 100% zero detail finish with practice. Gloves i just bought a cheap work glove of amazon as long as its waterproof 😉

Ib had my moerman liquidators about 8 months niw and have been great but now im starting to go through rubbers a lot faster. In the middle the keep wearing out leaving streaks. Any ideas whats causing it
@TradMan
@TradMan 5 лет назад
What rubber do you use and what cleaning solution method are you using?
@armymanal
@armymanal 5 лет назад
@@TradMan i was initially using red rubber with tesco dish liquid when it started to happen iv trued almost all liquids and put sift rubber on my bob but nothing changed which makes me think somehow the channel must be the culprit
@TradMan
@TradMan 5 лет назад
There's your problem, red rubber is to grippy on the glass for liquidators. Red rubber can be hit and miss with the quality too. Try pulex or moerman soft rubber and you'll find no issues. Are you putting the soap on the applicator?
@armymanal
@armymanal 5 лет назад
Its happening with all rubbers now since iv had the problem i dont put liquid in applicator
@TradMan
@TradMan 5 лет назад
@@armymanal try putting the soap on the applicator. I can defo say the tool is fine as many use them and i myself use only liquidators without issue. If you have runny solution it won't work well either so by putting soap on the applicator it will cure the line issue. Liquidators prefer a softer rubber so things like red rubber don't work very well.

Thanks! Very kind 😊 It really depends on the job size but it can be 1 or 2 big ones or like 15-20 littler ones roughly. Also travelling time greatly affects things

Hey trad. What rubber seems to work best for this moerman squeegees? And the channel you were using did it have stock tips or did you bend them? Thanks man.
@TradMan
@TradMan 5 лет назад
I use moerman soft rubber especially this time of year but ettore master soft is also a good one but that takes a while to wear in. All my channels are unmodified apart from the 16 and 18 inch, I've bent them down further forwards towards the rubber as you loose pressure at the tips with slimline large channels. Only a couple of millimetres though
