DAYHIKE IN GIBRALTAR RANGE NATIONAL PARK DANDAHRA FALLS AND MURRUMBOOEE CASCADE TRACK

Join me as I hike the Murrumbooee Cascades track and the Dandahra Falls track in the spectacular Gibraltar Range National Park. This beautiful park is situated in Northern NSW, Australia, on the edge of the New England Tableland. It’s my first hike for awhile and it definitely showed with my reduced trail fitness, but it was an amazing day out in the Aussie bush. Any day out in the bush is a day we’ll spent in my opinion.

it's a big one.. a friend just did this hike a few weeks back and made it to the bottom... lyrebirds are awesome to witness in nature =).. I was fortunate enough to find see two up close when I was in the Blue mountains.

Yeah it’s definitely a decent size waterfall. Would be amazing to get to the bottom but I wasn’t sure if it was possible, obviously it is. I will have to go back and see if I can get down there too. I’m guessing it will be off track. Blue mountains is a spot that I have been wanting to go check out. Amazing that you got to see a couple of lyrebird’s up close. I once came across one on a track that was going through its repertoire of bird calls, was fascinating to watch.
