The exploration and planning you do in this game is second to none and expertly executed. Something I have noticed, and I can't stop hearing it now, you do say 'basically' alot, 24 in this vid I think. 😊. Well done my friend, you are most entertaining.
Thank you Darryl, and I do need to stop saying that so much. It used to be the word "folks", which I still use, but I've had someone else also mention about the word "basically" that I use a lot.
@@borislav247 it's a thing, I had a phrase I often said at work, never realised it until it was pointed out to me. Folks, me included, watch your vids for the commentary also, it's what makes it so good really. 😁👍
Your laugh when you took the breaker out as soon as the cutscene ended had me rolling bro. I really enjoy your content man. I’m sure others do as well.
Just love method 2 , it was totally unexpected and extremely effective ! Another thing I like about your work arounds is that they don't break the game. Totally awesome video my friend ! 👍👍
Very kind words as always my friend, thank you FM. All the upcoming missions that I am showing will eventually be used in a new playthrough next year where I will completely destroy this game in a way that will make the game far easier for everyone.
@@borislav247 Yes, that would be fantastic! I would love to see you speedrun this game (in Survival 2 of course) where no weapons or tactics are off the table. A sort of complement to your recently completed Extreme Playthrough.
Brilliant. In another video you intimated that once you're in this region you can also go to Carlos' house and seed that with a few explodables too to aid your progress later in the game. A great strategy indeed :)
Thank you John, and yes, Carlos's compound can be messed about with also. Not that much is needing done there for the stealth escape, but one nice remote bomb placed at a certain spot makes this mission a doddle, lol. That's a future video John.
Wow that Breaker didn't stand a chance in the end! Fell right where he killed the freak! Amazing to watch a legend play, you even thought about that fast travel opportunity. Btw that petrol pump near iron Butte, not sure if you are aware but I saw someone do an easy kill from inside that building, he walked up a conveyor belt and the horde kept walking up and falling through the roof!
Yes, I think I saw the same video. However, if I remember correctly, it does not count as a "kill" for the Iron Butte Horde (since it is beyond their geographical boundary), and they will respawn when you go back there. I can't remember if you are able to collect the freaker ears though.
Thank you for the kind words my friend, and yes, I'm very aware of that easy kill location. Unfortunately though, it's no good whatsoever, as it's outside the Iron Butte Ranch area, so you get no freaker ears & the horde simply respawns. You basically just waste ammo & resources in killing them their.
That second method 😂🤣😂 Love it! I tried once to do similar but got turned around & wound up in a totally different area thinking this area must be unavailable til the mission. Later exploration proved that wrong of course but I've not yet tried it again...I certainly will be now tho! Thanks for the ideas 💡 😁
Your obvious enjoyment at the end cracked me up! LOL I'm glad you did this vid. The minute someone got into Iron Butte early I wonder if we could do this. Nicely executed sensai!
How funny and unexpected! Breaker went KABOOM! Just like that! 💥 😁 Brilliant methods, both, thank you! I don't play on very difficult mode so I don't need a foolproof method for this mission. I just rely on investing in focus and the best weapons available at this point in the game, and maybe a bear trap or two next to an explosive, and the combination usually does it nicely. I used to fear the breaker, I once even asked my son to complete the mission for me. But practice made me braver, and now it's no big deal anymore. 😅
It's all just about enjoying the game Ruth. So many ways to get the job done for all these missions, and you sound like you have good ones also. Thank you for watching.
Hey Boris. I have been enjoying your videos and I have attempted some of your ''easy'' ways of clearing hordes. Massive fail hahaha you play like a pro dude. When I arrived at the plane I hid in bushes on the right of your character at the end of cut scene and molotovd the breaker, he had no idea I was there. Very easy.
Been a while since I've watched your gameplays and this did not disappoint. Absolutley loved the tips and that last scene was excellent! Overkills are the best!😅
Totally brilliant! I'm so happy that the "prep" actually survives the mission triggers!! It gives me hope for that AWFUL Sniper mission at the dam! 😉Which, I have a feeling is a future video...😝😆 Have a good one, my friend! 👍👊
Thank you my friend, and you are a mind reader. That video is actually finished, and the dam is now a far easier affair, lol. Not only that though, but you can place items in Carlos's compound, so the stealth escape can now be made much easier with one well placed remote bomb. Future videos to come indeed my friend.
@@borislav247 LOL, I just commented on the same thing before reading this comment. Like Grey Ghost, I would love to see that work. It didn't for me when I planted the traps very early (after breaking into Iron Butte right after Copeland's Camp unlocks), but maybe if you do it before triggering the actual mission, it may be successful?
Awesome video Boris, that Breaker fight can be tough. It’s definitely fun! I like how you provided a couple of different methods of fighting the breaker 👍🏻👍🏻 I really enjoyed the video.
Oh Boris ! I just used the rock climb to get in there and take out all the rippers, but took out the Breaker using the Auto shotgun . Still editing my video and bang up comes yours ! You’re too good mate ! And what an ending . Fantastic as usual.
When I did this one I lucked out big time - I went through the little split in the rock and he lost track of me, and I just killed him with the crossbow and molotovs / frag grenades from a distance without him seeing me again. It took forever, but he just stayed at the cleft the whole time. 😃
Good one Boris! I was doing the first method for a long time. I think that's the way to do it. Second method is total overkill. I think even three mines would do the job.
Fantastic video boris you too😢him out instantaneous better than I did even with first method wich was great you don't don't need the second love how your mind works top notch 👍
You actually didn't need to do the last fuel up. Once the mission starts, you have infinite fuel. I believe all of the scripted missions are like this so you can't fail due to a dry tank. Are there any other missions where you can prepare the site before starting? I know that some missions reset the location items and remove placed items when you instantiate them. Fun video! lol
Borislav said that he would show the Carlos dam mission soon with that strategy. I tried it myself and the traps de-spawned, but that was immediately after Copeland's Camp unlocked using the early Lost Lake + Iron Butte sequence break.
You are right my friend, I didn't need to fuel up, but it's just a habit with me. And yes, more missions certainly can be prepared like this, the Dam one especially. That's another video for another day my friend.
@@JBost-en9tq Yes, the time you placed them is probably the problem here. If you set them up just before the trip into Iron Butte with Skizzo, they stay where you place them, and make that mission a LOT easier.
Well I be fucked. Never thought about the residue bolt on the heavy guy. Great vid Boris. I am back playing but practicing before I do another playthrough
7:00 ish I actually forgot there were two snipers here - I always go through the wooded area straight to the crash site and again on the way back -so the only rippers I meet are the ones in that first corridor.
My preferred method: 1. Get the Executioner skill. 2. Throw a smoke bomb at the breaker while he is still eating the freaker. 3. Stealth kill the breaker.
It's a good way to do it, but, a lot of people (myself included) prioritize the other skill trees on Days Gone that don't have the Executioner skill, so a lot of people simply won't be able to do it like this. Thank you for sharing that info though mate.
@@borislav247 In all 3 regions, I had to do all the Nero checkpoints/Infestation zones/Ambush camps/Hordes as well as all the available missions for Copeland and Tucker (and freed quite a few hostages as well) before embarking on this mission. But it was worth it. I had carry that weight as well as the executioner skill.
Its time to play new games on this channel. We would love to see your gameplay for Last of us series. You have great gaming techniques. And it will be fresh content and will bring more new subs for you as well.
He does have a playthrough of Dead Island 2. The only reason I’m reluctant to watch is because I haven’t played that game yet. I finished the original Dead Island it was great
I do have other games on my channel mate, but I have pretty much dedicated this channel to Days Gone. I can't keep doing content on this forever, so other games will get showcased at some point (especially as I now have a lot of people watching my channel), but for the time being, it's a lot more Days Gone content.
@borislav247 I loved the "Not So Conventional Method"! I have tried setting traps before at the dam that you blow up when riding with Boozer to confront Carlos later in the storyline. [I did this with the Lost Lake + Iron Butte sequence break that you and Grey Ghost showed recently.] Sadly, the traps de-spawned by the time I unlocked that mission. I am thinking that there may be some kind of hidden "time limit" to how long you can leave traps before they disappear? 🤔
