Days Gone was one of the best games ever. I don’t care what anyone says. When Deacon and Sarah ride away on the bike and this song plays, holy sh*t, the emotion I felt was surreal. I was really tearing up. I wish this song was on music platforms. It’s outstanding.
Man the emotions i felt when i thought boozer died then boom he came back at the end of the mission and was like "hey i hope you saved some for me" i could barely contain myself then this song plays while deacon and Sarah ride off together finally i lost it, my girlfriend didn't understand 😥😥😅
If u look up days gone quiet in the end when they are riding when he says at least the days go quiet for now it shows deacon and sarah young then flashes to them in moment both moments when riding. Touches my soul
Yep, I played a hour of it months ago and didn’t like it (don’t hate me) but I came back a month later and 100% it and it took me like 50 hours, best decision I’ve ever made, such a great and emotional game.
@@underworld6103I’ve had quite a few games like that, played 10%-40% of the game and decided I didn’t care for it anymore or in the first place. Restart it years later and they’re fantastic. Super weird.
This song hits even harder when you realize there will not be a Days Gone 2. It truly is goodbye to Deacon St. John and company. There was so much potential with that beautiful ending.
@@dr.loomis4221 The gameplay got repetitive and it was a chore to get through the final portion of the game. The beauty, however, was in the story. This is what was worthwhile for me personally.
Never say never. Hollywood/Silicon Valley are so bereft of original ideas, you never know when they will return to the well. My concern is that the original talent won't be there, and they'll just screw it up, like almost everything else they do today.
This game. One of my favorite stories in gaming. Boozer, Deek, Kouri, Iron Mike, Rikki, Sarah, Weaver, Taylor, Lisa, O'Brian, Characters I've come to love. Except Skizzo.
@@NickTheSpitFire me too. I was really sad. Have you played the Last of Us 2? If you did, then you probably cried when they killed Joel. I definitely did
@@norry02 Kinda sad Days Gone is a highly underrated game cause the shitty critics tore it apart... Gone through it 2 times and got the plat trophy after my first playthrough... Day's Gone IS one of the Best Open Worlds out there and to me it IS THE BEST PS4 Exclusive I have played. Without a Doubt! Edit: And yes I have played Uncharted, God of War, Spider-Man and Horizon Zero Dawn, those I name as the most popular of them, I have also played a couple more exclusives, got my Ps4 kinda late so im sure I missed out on a few maybe
Days Gone is one of the best games ever made. You can feel the love of the developers with every little detail. The acting, the dynamics of the game, the soundtrack, the story. There’s only one word for it, Masterpiece. A shame it didn’t and doesn’t get the recognition it deserves.
Game is amazing the songs are amazing , check out billy riffoul, he does a song called “hell or high water”, also amazing. FYI this is the first game I got a little misty eyed playing, amazing story and gameplay
This game is truly a masterpiece. The music is beautiful and captures the emotions and story perfectly. The voice acting is accurate and real. The story is amazing and keeps you asking what happens next. Nothing is stale or repetitive. Personally I haven't encountered any bugs everything has worked fine for me. This game deserves awards
Thomas Connor-O'Dwyer no disrespect. Dope game! Doesn’t compare to days gone other than it has zombies and the fighting is similar. No hate from me brother.
This game is truly amazing. Never been so involved into a character and storyline so much before. Fuck and the ending is so beautiful it made me cry!!!
It is just sad they will not be making a second game. It has so much potential. Just going by what Obrien says in the end, this can not be the true ending to days gone. Sony really needs to rethink their decision on this. So what if the game had some bugs, all games do. What this game had that not many others do not have, is an amazing story. The critics who hated on this game did not play the game to listen to the story they only cared about the bugs.
Days gone had a lot of heart in it and this song was so perfect at the end ..its sad that they put so much effort into that world and we won't be getting a sequel
He's a genius, I love his music.. The guy could sing a badly written song and make it beautiful. But when your heart is broken, and your sad, his songs, and the way he sings can expose your soul.
I just finished Days Gone and WOW what a masterpiece... The ending made me so emotional and then this beautiful song started playing T_T... One of the greatest games and stories ever
Thank you so much to Days Gone for introducing me to this amazing song. Knew of Lewis Capaldi, loved "someone you love" but never heard this. Got to the end and it came on and I'm like yo.... that's Lewis. Turns out I was right. Love it.
First time ever hearing this song.. what a powerful masterpiece.... The way he is able to describe pure raw emotion with words.. is incredible... It's almost like apart of him lives inside us all... Bleeds like we bleed... Breaks like we break... Hurts like we hurt.... That's not just talent.... That's pure soul and emotions.... Every time I listen to this song.. I feel like he's strumming my pain with his fingers.. singing my life with his words.. living my emotions in his words... Killing me softly with his song.. killing me softly.....
I listened to this so much working in healthcare (LTC) in 2021-2022 after the worst of the pandemic, dealing with PTSD and cases still lingering around and all the ripple effects it had on everything...
The fact that a guy who lives only a 10 minute journey from me wrote a song for the game I've just played is insane, as if having him around locally wasn't insane enough. God I love my country of Scotland sometimes 😌 Cheers for making a crackin ending to a game for me Lewis! 🏴🏴🏴
days gone is a very good game.. im still having goosebumps remembering my experience.. finding sarah was my main goal while playing and every clue and cutscenes i get, im praying shes alive and man, the joy i felt when i saw her alive......i rarely dream but when i do, it means i love the game so much that i dream i was in it...
I just finished days gone and I'm really attached to the characters. and now hearing this at the end makes me missed them so much I really hope they make a sequel about that secret ending with o'brian.
Same. After beating the game it was so hard to press the Exit button. I left Deek crouched next to Sarah and Boozer. I've gone full Toy Story moment with them, to me they're real. I feel like they're still out there living and surviving long after I've closed the game.
This game, to me, ranks right up there with "The Last Of Us" as far as the story line, open world play, graphics and controls. I love "The Walking Dead, Darryl" type character with the rough biker cuts and fixed up rat bike. And such a captivating story. I was shocked that I found this game was FREE on PlayStation Plus. And it makes this song SO much more powerful if you play it to the end. This was the only other game that drew tears from my eyes. Especially the scene with Boozer and the dog. I lost it
bhillis99 months? What? I finished it in 4 days. And I’m married with 2 kids, 1 and half and 4, what? Did you like play 20 min a day? Also explored it a lot.
I finished days gone recently... I've never cried at a game before... The ending of the game, captivated by this song brings an absolute masterpiece to a conclusion... Incredible and truly shows the powerful messages video game can portray
Now that we're bleeding, broken and scarred Thought we were finished and yet here we are Stuck in the same place, despite what we overcame Sometimes don't it make you wonder Darling, when will it come to an end? 'Cause the price we paid left a mark that stains And I don't think I'll ever be the same We might have kept the black at bay But all around it still remains Lord only knows for evermore, what horizons hold for us in store Looks like there's no way around, but I know I'll try somehow At least it's all gone quiet for now Tomorrow don't mean much, in the waters we wade And my secrets are waiting for me when I get to my grave 'Cause the price we paid left a mark that stains And I don't think I'll ever be the same We might have kept the black at bay, But all around it still remains God only knows for evermore, what horizons hold for us in store Looks like there's no way around but I know I'll try somehow At least it's all gone quiet for now We might have kept the black at bay, but all around it still remains God only knows for evermore, what horizons hold for us in store Looks like there's no way around Looks like there's no way around Looks like there's no way around But I know I'll try somehow, at least the days gone quiet for now.
As someone who lost both grandparents at the end of 2020 & haven't got over it yet (very close small family, just us & my mum), this song hit me like an uppercut with those lyrics. Burst out crying.
Sophie Broadhurst i wish but in the album on apple music there are 3 songs that weren’t released which were “before you go”, “leaving my love behind”, and “let it roll”. so idk but maybe he’ll release a version of this too!!
I just want to say i played this game the first time when it came out on PC. I love it. I love the music, characters and the story. It's one of the best zombie games i have ever played. The freaker horde concept is brilliant and a very nice addition to the zombie genre. It would be a shame if they didn't make a days gone 2.
I'm sad cuz the ending of this game gives u a bittersweet feeling. Amazing game actually. I'm disappointed at myself cuz ive never heard lewis capaldi before and it looks like he has a solid fanbase and his voice is amazing. And I'm mad cuz this aint in spotify. Wtf?
This game takes place in Oregon and I am happy I lived in Oregon. also the song makes you feel like to reject modernity and go do something’s the way people do after the pandemic. And reflect our past.
Same duude ._. Just know you're not alone and be patient and understanding to your self and please reach for a professional help if you can or watch videos, podcasts, etc also try and learn what plan fits you and i hope you find peace ☮️❤️❤️
Comeplete masterpiece, i've never been so invested into a character and a storyline, I literally put in some 6+ hour days playing and only finished it today. Everything was perfect.
Finished Days gone on my laptop today.13 June 21 . Started it on 19th May 21. Great game. The story seems slow at first but picks up soon enough. Pretty good ending especially when this song plays
Imagine the hordes on more powerful hardware. It's gonna be incredible seeing like 1000 zombies at once with no slowdown. I hope Sony come to their senses and greenlight the sequel.
I'm a huge Lewis Capaldi fan..his songs hit home...this one got me thinking of one person I've known to love...and they no longer here and I know for certain that a part of me is indeed buried forever..
I never thought any game could make me cry. Cyberpunk did make me cry because it sucked but this game and this song in the end, I felt like boozer cheering on for Deacan and Sara.
Days Gone is a game that feels a little like a PS3 type era game but with the graphics of a PS4/PS5 game. It started off a little slow but characters like Deacon and Boozer grew on me quite quick. Their personalities feel so natural that I enjoyed every piece of dialogue. There's many zombie type games but only few can pull off good characters that you can truly enjoy listening to. It was a fun journey.
Seeing Deacon and Sarah together and of course their friends still there,Boozer,Rikki,Copeland,Alkai,Weaver,O'Brian and the other still alive make me happy this song fit well
I've played many great games throughout my years but somehow the days gone characters, story, and soundtrack are phenomenal. The Ending mixed with this song & the full soundtrack literally puts you in the storyline with the characters. Days gone will always be one of my best games.
Emotionally this game is one of the best. Recently played through red dead 2 which is right up here with this. Definitely top of my list of best games I’ve ever played
Loved every minute of Days Gone, the Game was simply amazing. It actually hooked me for Hours and hours daily. + the Music is simply, i don't know. This Song and also the one from the Camp played with the Guitar that's called "Yesterday" just beautiful
+Rui Felipe I'd recommend listening to every guitarist in Lost Lake, Soliders Eyes, and Hell or High Water. These 3 are all original songs just for the game if im correct. Same as this Days Gone Quiet
Yesterday - Zander Reese Soldier's eyes - Jack savoretti - not made specifically for the game Hell or high water - Billy Raffoul All are such beautiful songs , including this one
He is such an amazing singer, I cant stress it enough. Every part of this song sends a chill down my spine. Especially when the final beat drops and you get a blast of energy that is not even understandable to human knowledge. I cant explain it.
