Wow , I think you've covered every method possible ! There were a few old favorites as well as some brand new ones. I remember this horde very well as I was ill prepared. After multiple failures I got an on screen message asking if I wanted to skip the horde but warning I would not be able to get the platinum trophy. I persevered , but after an hour and a half I was calling the freakers another word that started with the letter ' f ' lol. Let it be known that Kouri lied when he said he's got your back. When I ran out of ammo at the diner I had to make a mad dash back to my bike to re-supply. Fully loaded once again , I ran past Kouri to get some space between me and the horde. You know what Kouri did ? NOTHING ! Maybe he just counted the freakers going by and placed a bet on which one would kill me. All this to say how much easier life would have been if I had this tutorial back then. Absolutely amazing video once again my friend , you certainly are at the top of your game. Fantabulous !!! 👍👍
We agree wholeheartedly on Kouri here, he is one lazy f*^&£r. Cracks me up when he starts mouthing off about the Molatovs & the fact that "they really work" when I haven't used one bloody Napalm on the horde on one run, but otherwise it's all good. We all remember this horde my friend. So iconic. Just delighted to finally do this horde justice, and as always FM, appreciate you're amazingly kind & funny comments my friend.
I watched almost all your days gone, horde Strategy guide videos. And it helped me out Tremendously to beat the game twice. I'm no longer afraid of taking the hordes straight head on now, I still use some high points but now the hordes are afraid of Deek The Horde Killer.
Fab thanks Borislav 247, i got game in December and yesterday Jan 19th got to this very part of the game. Man! a few sticky moments took three attempts fell of rock backwards then reversed off by accident then got off bike and ended on ground (grrr) then drew attention with attractor but to close to barrel, horde smothered it couldn't shoot it till it cleared by then there all around the rock napalmed got a lot but then got slapped a couple a times ammo run out (not got large mag yet on chopper). fell off rock run like fuck using attractors and other large gun and fuck yes it ended with last blast of gun. WOW heart pounding adrenalin rush and extremely thankful for your brilliant work with all the hordes in this very underrated classic. Eternally greatful to all you RU-vidrs making things more enjoyable for cashual gamers.
When I started playing this game, the idea of taking on even the smallest horde made me kak my pants. After watching a bunch of your vids, I feel I can take on anything!

I used easy kill location number 3 last night, did have to try it 3 times as I missed them, wasn't quite quick enough to set the attractors, but worked a treat. Thanks

I just found your channel last week and I want to thank you for making these videos. I have played 'Days Gone' a few times now, and I keep coming back to it. It's like an addiction :) I wish they made some DLC for it.
An absolute pleasure Damien. I love this game so much, that I'm working on a video for every aspect of this game (so still work in progress, lol). And Bend Studio did actually produce some DLC for this game, it's the Days Gone Challenges. Not well received by everybody, but they were introduced around 1 year after the main game was released.
You are a literal life saver. The game suddenly decided that i was ready to take on 300 freakers at once wtf. My weaponry wasnt ready and neither was my heart. Watched this video and picked easy location no. 2 as my modus operandi. Took me at least 15 attempts to land safely on the rooftop (lol) but thanks to that i did not get a heart attack. Now i have 300 freaker corpses underneath my feet, fuck yeah! 🤘
Fantastic my friend, and respect for using one of the harder methods (the rooftop landing ain't an easy one). It's a tremendous sight when you finally take them all out there.

Love this game. So grateful to see the tips and tricks to deal with the hoards. I'm hearing rumors that Sony has greenlit a sequel to DG! I hope its true. If so, I hope BEND reaching out to super fans like you to help develop the new game and improve on the stuff that worked and edit out the stuff that didn't.
Oh mate, I also hope the rumours are true. Everyone wants to see a sequel made, but time will tell. Working for them would be a dream, but I fear that's all this will ever be, lol.
OMG! Those who have read some of my previous comments, know how terrified I am of the hordes, and basically always take them out from a safe, untouchable location. Well, on my current playthrough, which Borislav once again got me on, I got on the first mission horde yesterday at the Chemult Station. My plan was, as usual, to get on the rooftop of that little hut and destroy the horde from there, safely. But as I went to get the horde's attention and ran back to the hut with the horde chasing after me, for some weird reason I was unable to jump on top of the root! At that point it was too late to try again, the freakers were already almost at me, so I had no choice but to start running... I felt like having a heart attack! I was absolutely sure that I'd fail, there's just no chance I'd take such a huge horde from the ground, especially because I'm so terrified of them and that impedes my thinking and makes me miscalculate my actions on the go. But I thought I'd try anyway and see how long I'd survive. I threw every item in my intentory at them, attractor bombs, molotovs, napalm, granades and what not. At times I stopped to shoot them while they buzzed around an attractor. I used several stamina cocktails and made some more, all the while running around frantically, also trying to avoid the invisible mission borders that if strayed too far outside, fails the mission. I completely ignored all the helpful environmental aids such as explosives and narrow passages and obstacles; this is one of my problems, I'm unable to plan or execute a plan while in a terrified state of mind, being chased by the freakers. There were a couple of moments when I thought that I'm done, I could see the backs of the freakers heads behind me in the camera, they were really close and I had ran out of stamina. But I managed to make some more stamina cocktails and off I went again. Once they nearly surrounded me because I had to turn due to the mission barrier. But even that I survived, and in the end, I MADE IT!!!!! I destroyed that freaking horde!!! I had to pause the game and take a deep breath, I was so shocked and couldn't believe what I just did! So, to all those really afraid of the freakers and who still don't believe in your chances against them via a vulnerable on-the-ground method, HAVE FAITH IN YOURSELF!! IF I CAN DO IT, SO CAN YOU!! :D And a huge thanks to Borislav who has taught me so much about this awesome game. I am chronically sick and weak, but this game, among some others, help me feel more alive and engaged in life. Something I cannot often do "naturally" and physically. Just love it, and love you Borislav and our little lovely community here! 🥰

Bro! I’ve been playing this game continuously for 5 years!😂 best game ever! Thought I’d add something I like doing. Especially with the chemult college run. I leave the speaker alarms alone so the breakers and the other super freaker congregate. Makes killing the horde more challenging. Thanks for all your great videos mate
I haven't long done this mission horde and used easy kill location one and by god it's super easy. Didn't use remote bombs and jerry cans but used napalm molotov, frags attractors and gunplay
I haven't played Days Gone in ages but I've def saved this for when I do another play through. I'm not an experienced gamer haha Zombie hordes seriously freak me out so I have long breaks in-between play thru's. I did the Cafe one a few times but I wouldn't recommend it either. Its so tedious! I'm not great at close combat so I generally prefer stealth if at all possible but some of your easy ones I want to give a try. I think I can do them. I haven't watched alot of your vids but I appreciate how you show the different ways, you're usually my go to, I enjoy your dialogue so thankyou for posting 🦖

I love when they dolphin jump out of the dead pile of freakers. When I first took on this horde, I did it outside of the mission (It was probably half? at this point, maybe less). Got it done, then did the mission part of the horde and I was like "I JUST DID THIS!" and realized it was bigger. Did sniper shots and some remote bombs near the train car, with some napalms when the group was big enough. Run away to bring down the horde a bit, rinse, repeat. It took me some time, but, it got done.
This game is making me nuts! I beat this stupid horde for my guy, before i was even close to it on my game, and was like.. welp this will be a cake walk when its my turn. NOPE! My biggest issue is now when i try to hop on top of the coffee house, it only works like half of the time, and Never when the damn horde is right behind me! This wouldn't be so awful if I didn't have to regather everything. I have raged quit to many times now.. I, I think im done. But your tips were how i was able to beat it before. So thank you kindly. 😊
The climb up is all about making sure that Deek approaches it the way I do on the video. Once Deek starts the first climb, don't press ANY other buttons except the climb button. That ensures that he will climb onto the roof. I hope this helps & I hope you give it another shot.
@@borislav247 and I finally got it. I tried everyday, just once or twice so I didn't get to aggravated. However, I just wanted to share, in case anyone else is having any issues. I found a nice spot, to the left, behind the garage, behind a fence and in the bush, I chucked attractors and fire and got like 1/2-3/4 and they when I finally ran out of explosives, it wasn't very many left I just baited and killed em. Just another way I found. Thank you for all the excellent vids!
I always use the hotdog stand with the added ingredients inside it! 😂 Not sure if it was my first or second run, before i knew how delightful the hotdogs were. I went into the cafe.😢 I think i wanted to shoot myself once i realised you could only shoot from one corner and the attractors didn't work. Lesson learned the hard way with that one. Keep em coming my friend.
LMAO TD. That effing place where the attractors strangely all of a sudden become useless makes for one long night when trying to take out the horde there. Thankfully there are some far better methods, but I had to show that one for full disclosure. Appreciate you watching my friend.
If you have taken on a lot of hordes before reaching this one, I totally understand why this one would present little problems. One of the biggest hordes, but in an area with so much explodable items that the Napalms ain't even required if you run them around Chemult.

Nice video again. Ive finished this game couple weeks back, but im defently coming back, and try some of youre method's. I also noticed with the bike tank it represents two other game's, i used the Death stranding tank because it was very creepy lol.
Yes indeed. First playthrough, everyone hasn't a clue what's being thrown at them. A bit naughty from Bend Studio for the very first horde you are forced to take on in a mission.
@@borislav247 That’s weird. I stumbled upon the Chelmut mob by just exploring. I wiped them out as I said. Then last night I had to do a mission with the napalm on them so they must reset for the sake of the story. I didn’t mind ,it’s great fun.
@@mikeorwell1103 The horde didn't reset Mike. The first horde you took out was the Chemult Station horde. There are only 4 hordes unlocked in the highway 97 region early, and this horde is one of them. The second horde you took out is the Chemult mission horde (a much bigger horde, 300 strong). They are basically 2 different hordes Mike, but kudos for taking them both out.
Lol i remember it. I was so stressed that i collected all what i could in the garage and gaz station putting all the traps i could. Preparation was so long that fight started always on daylight lol. What i dont like with this mission is that it follows the previous mission and you cant change weapon or get craft to make a melee weapon etc.
Oh yes, the biggest problem of dealing with this lot is having the mission sprung on you with no time to prepare. A bit unfair to say the least. You sound like you had fun with this lot though.

Some new ip on the days gone style PlayStation Studios boss Herman Hulst previously confirmed that Bend was working on a new IP that builds on the open-world gameplay of zombie shooter Days Gone, which was released for PS4 in 2019 and for PC in 2021.
I have heard this mate, unfortunately, it's not Days Gone II (unless they are keeping DGII top secret, lol). The game apparently uses a lot of the game mechanics from Days Gone, so it should be worth a look when this game comes out.

@@borislav247 regarding hordes ye its given me a storyline killing the hordes and I can see the red bars on how many to kill etc does endgame hordes lose the red bar? I'm not finished story yet but I thought hordes only unlock when finish story/game? why do I only see horde locations after you get on/off bike?
@@SoldierX-Gamer This horde here is a mission horde, so you have to take it on in order to complete the Days Gone game, and also why you get a bar with this one. Iron Butte & Sawmill are the same if you take them on when the mission requests you to.
@@borislav247 its showing all hordes as a storyline bro its showing all hordes i kill with a bar and 3 locations says I've done 60% of them so it's definitely right coz I have the SMP9 upgraded mag and MG55. Its right what they say about this game upto lvl 13 you utterly fear hordes 13 - 20 your fear starts reducing 25 - 35 fear goes away 40+ bring on the hordes lol
I tried easy kill location 1, practiced the jump on top of the hut, and then when I had the horde behind me I just couldn’t get up there lol time to restart and try it again
Side point. I dislike it because its a very common trope in games where they enhance the difficulty falsely by making you take on leonidas and his 300 all on your onesie. It just gets frustrating when you get into the flow of something and finally have a grasp, only for them to amp the fuck-you-itude up for one mission. 😅
Yeah, I get your point mate. Given that it's the first horde you have to face, why make it such a large one. I love taking on this horde, but a smaller one would have been kinder from Bend Studio to take on for a first main game mission horde.
@borislav247 I'd like to update this since I am a petty bitch. I can admit when I was a dumbass. I tried again today and did it first try by keeping my distance and picking them off slowly. I just had a really shit day and was using the game as an escape. Worst possible time for it to suddenly become harsh af. 😂😂 I actually turned to my boyfriend and got all dramatic, "I don't even know if I want to come back to this game now, it means so much to me. But it's really fucked me off, and I just can't with it after how today's been" yadda yadda, haha. I overreact and just wanted to apologise. At some point I certainly will mate, but some of these other videos will be further down the line. Time issues and family life right now are seriously hindering my ability to get videos out. The horde ones keep things going as they were made months ago and are scheduled every week .
Indeed. The first time I ever played this mission, I missed the box as well. I was just so focused on the job at hand, that I ignored what was nearby, lol.
Ps if u hold square down too deek stops n gets off bike quicker I discovered that zombie's dont like bright lights as when they charge you they put their hands up to block the light it can make them hesitate too when charging you can also use this to your advantage as they will head towards the light = easy flank kill. It was weird bro as I never saw em do that before as they always charged and I never hardly ever used flash light i found 2 uses for it 1 in tunnels 2 Woods in rain its weird night time in open wth is it so light at night besides them places hehe plus headlight can give away position so sometimes I let go of accelerator n turn off headlight = noiseless hehe Ps u no in ur chelmut vid can u park bike diagonally in that gap? Or would it get knocked over?
@@mjcapo1 Will be perfectly honest mate, I'm Scottish, but I am known to all my friends as Boris. It's a nickname I've had since I was a teenager (many, many years ago, lol), so I simply incorporated this into my channel name (as well as being my PSN name).
A lot of methods here mate, so hopefully one of them will suit you. Big tip though, if you are playing this on PC, then you have to press the Caps Lock button before attempting bike climbs, as this apparently disengages the clutch, allowing you to walk up the rocks.
You have to remember that this horde is a whopping 300 strong, so any attractor thrown will entice some of them, but they are so great in numbers that you will still have a lot coming for you. Only the small hordes will come to a standstill with an attractor. Hope this helps mate.

Took a few minutes longer to setup, but then wasn't being chased by those just wandering aimlessly. Thanks!
Potentially, one or two can sometimes get up to the roof (assuming you are meaning the Kiosk roof), but they are easily taken care of as long as you are on point with the shooting.
This is kinda a BS mission, i was trying for a couple of hours and came to the conclusion that they just threw a 300 man army at you because they decided that the game wasnt enough like dark souls. 😂 "Having fun? Well shit, guess imma have to kill that seratonin." 😂
Lol, this is Bend Studio's way of simply making sure you actually take on a horde in this game. You can potentially avoid all hordes up until this point in the game, but they make sure you ain't avoiding this one, lol.
you got the recipes for stamina cocktails? I don't have napalm unlocked yet. But have hp n stamina cocktail recipes. You should be scoffing stamina cocktails to compensate then hehe. Ps can't u save ammo and throw stones instead to attract them? Another good video bro shame this game isn't coop i thought it was at 1st ie boozer I thought he,d be player 2 hehe. One last thing are normal hordes 50 strong? Then endgame ones are 100+?
The smallest hordes start at a very small 25 (Cascade Region) but grow in size as you get to other regions, and they always have 1 horde in each region that is larger than the rest. All you're craft recipe's are unlocked by taking out those ambush camps, so always give them priority early game mate. On this video, I'm loaded with everything, but cocktails are rarely required as Deacon has good stats at this point. Wish you well on you're playthrough mate.
@@borislav247 hehe np man tell u 1 thing tho I don't feel so weak now I found mg45 I was a black ops/RE zombie player DG has black ops and res evil boozers shot gun is Leon's default shotgun from re2 and its fully upped version is in mikes camp so I seen alot of zombies too even ran zombie trains. I'm lvl 20 now 3 hordes down (the 1 after o Brian mission a horde sprang after lol) il go to 1st spot you showed getting sp9 then thats 4 hordes and il get sp9
@@SoldierX-Gamer Once you have the SMP9 alongside the MG45, you are essentially in god mode mate, as there's nothing that can't be taken out with those two. SMP9 is incredibly quick at reloading, so you will be in an amazing position mate.
Pz all good now bro unlocked ppsh and rpd these are black ops zombies weapons hehe shotguns from res evil universe ie boozers shotgun is the W-870 Leon 1st gets from gun locker re2 and combat shotgun is the fully upgraded shotgun from re2 (long barrel+stock). I must say South feels harder than north there's hordes down ere aving picnics lol they come outta nowhere too
@@borislav247 I am doing bro ye I realised with wildlife hehe cougars wolfs runners feral bears and bears bloody annoying crows that dive on you. I'm struggling with molotovs in general its doing my head in coz I cant finish the burning nests mission I just unlocked fire bolts too, Plus i found the table showing rewards you get fir doing stuff ie hordes, ambush camps etc. Another thing i noticed was the smp9 ya unlock for 4 hordes is better grade and damage over vendor ones. Ps now I got smp9 ppsh 41 and RPD u read other comment I put? Aw man I nearly smashed my pad up bro I didn't no when u went into scizzos Lodge for detonation wires he picks up the dragonov sniper rifle ended up losing bloody mg45 meh but u rode south got upto trust 1 in witch island base then got ppsh n rpd (another meh moment) as I also didn't no you locked outta north is it after chemult u go back north? I just hope I can find quite a bit o kerosine coz South isn't full open yet either and I'm out of molotovs hehe
@@SoldierX-GamerIn regards to you're molatovs issue M, start using the fire bolts instead of them, as 1 kerosine can produce 3 bolts instead of 1 molatov, so the infestation zones can be taken out with far less resources, and far easier too.

Oh mate, this is an annoying one for sure. On my first playthrough, I experienced this also, but just keep looking for a ripper heavy to get that bad boy back.
@@borislav247 I did bro i found a heavy he had 1 I rode south to wizard island got trust 2 there now rocking M1927 (bo2z gun) Eliminator (looks like an enhanced M1911 kills any swarmed in 2 shots) and RPD. Smp9 is in res evil 4 lol its the tmp smg but in days gone they made it better in re4 is recoily af lol
