I saw them at blue ridge rock fest and their laptop messed up and he did the set acoustic. I had literal goosebumps from start to finish!! I get to see them again in 2 weeks with bad omens and i cant wait!!! Thanks for the reaction.
This band really can do no wrong with their music.... whether it be heavy or something like this, his voice just carries the songs and fits no matter what.
I am beyond ecstatic for more Dayseeker. His side project Sightings also had gorgeous songs when he could show off that falsetto too, especially on Heartbeats in a Quiet Room. Definitely check that out if you two haven't yet. Probably my all time favorite vocal performance by Rory.

I wanted start off by saying i love watching your reactions. I recently heard a song call Drowning Hymn by Wind Walkers and it felt like a great partner reaction to Dayseeker.
Love Rory's vocals! I think I just have a soft spot for vocalists like him. I also found out this group called 'Hurtwave' and I don't know why it took me so long to realise that it's Rory's side project....😭 Idk how I missed that - his voice is quite distinct. I would recommend the song 'Sever' or 'Bleach'. This project has more of a synth-pop vibe to it, but his vocals shine!
Such amazing pop sensibilities from them especially the vocals but the songwriting too. So hyped for more in this style as much as I love the heavy, they do this so well! Also guys there's a new ep by August is Falling an obscure pop punk band that had never released stuff online until recently, they have a lyric video with a song of the same name as the band August is Falling which would be interesting for you guys to check out if you had the time, it's blowing up in just 2 days has over 100k views!
I can honestly say after specifically going to see them live back in 2019, Rory is just as good live as he is on record. Man has a true talent and it was worth it to see them even when they were only an opener.

I absolutely love Rory’s voice! I feel the synth is added so well, especially from his side project ‘Hurt Wave’ and you should definitely listen to that EP
