great review! i want to STRESS how well you showed the shot strings for ALL POWER LEVELS. nice graphs for comparison. please always show complete shot string data as you did on all your future reviews. for me, a good shot string is in the top things to consider purchasing an air rifle. thanks for a great review!
This is an incredible airgun, maybe the finest ever designed but it is a $3,000 airgun without optics and mount. You have to charge the gun and charge the battery. When you design and build a tool such as this, someone will buy it. I have the Huntsman and it was quite a bit to spend on an airgun package. The Huntsman will not do what this gun will do but my carbine is a mere 37" long. I have been taking the springers out lately. Maybe, as I approach 60 simplicity is the rule of each day. Congrats to the new owner of one of these.
I totally agree Christian and i am not keen on electronics in guns. More fiddling about and takes the fun out of it for more liking. I love my springers especially my HW97. More skill involved and as you said this rifle is so expensive
@@davidm3maniac201 I also shoot Weihrauch. The 97, great gun; my friend has one with the blue lam stock. I have my HW50 from 1975 and a Beeman R9. I just bought from AofA at Thanksgiving, one of the Diana 430s. They had it on sale for $149, German, fixed barrel under lever for $149...had to do it!
I wish we had the same regulations around the power of air rifles as the majority of the world does, the 12fpe law here in England is ridiculous really, naturally a. 177 rifle seems to settle at 18/20 fpe and its a great power for a 8 to 10 grain pellet. The fact that the new generation of rifles are coming with all kinds of tuning of power and accuracy gadgets on them and unless you can get a part one fac certificate you won't ever get to make use of any of the settings because they are all locked off in a UK rifle, very annoying.
I am a bit confused by the shot count numbers. it seems that the shount count of 25 cal in same power is more than .22 cal. 41 to 20 at high power, 86 to 44 at medium power and 131 to 103 at low power.
okay, first I want to say that has always you've done a nice job on the video. Anyone can see that you put a lot of time in the graphs and numeric readouts for shot counts and air pressures etc. As someone who owns nearly a dozen high-end air rifles, and is looking for something other than an FX Impact chassis rifle in order to shoot slugs with, THIS VIDEO IS VERY FRUSTRATING! Like so many other companies out there, you won't tell us what the cost of the rifle is so we have to go through the hassle of going through the subscripted connection to the retailer to find out that this rifle costs $2900. Fine, whatever, but then you go through the trouble of telling us about the "ART barrel system" but never MENTION or DEMONSTRATE whether or not it will shoot SLUGS!!! Unfortunately, what we are left with is the impression that this is another nicely done English made PELLET RIFLE with a nice Italian made stock and some electronic wizardry thrown in for nearly $3000. the owner of day state is a really nice guy and I'd like to meet him one day, but I simply cannot believe that he would put all of this time and money into the ART barrel system IF IT DOESN'T SHOOT SLUGS! I could buy to complete FX Impacts for this money and be shooting pigeons and marmots at 120 yards here in Colorado with slugs, but you will NEVER be doing this with yet another PELLET GUN shooting Diablo pellets with terrible ballistic co-efficients. Sorry, just the truth, maybe this rifle is simply made for the European market and good old blokes who want to shoot at field target matches?

I shot an old frig with my wolverine .303 some of the pellets went through I was like 20 something 30 yards that pellet gun is a beast 100 ft/lbs I was like holy s**t varmints beware

It is what it is. I guess if you can afford the rifle, what will buying a magazine and hard case matter to you. Bargain shoppers don't buy rifles like this.
Heith Watkins I have FX impact and Crown(quality hard case included)even my Krals came in a decent case.Regardless of price it just a proper thing to do.I still bought the Wolverine anyway!
not sure what I think about using the trigger to cycle through a menu. even if the trigger isn't mechanically connected to anything. just on principle, it doesn't feel right.

That statement was made at 20yds..and he changed power levels twice and caliber once before the 50yd group!! By the way..I was wide awake and had the same question.. Never did get the answer.. Going off half cocked is a bad habit..someone will always call you on it😬

I have the same gun in 30 cal. .87 inch at 110 yards. At 120 it’s 1.0 inch. At 50 yards it’s pellet on top so that’s kind of boring. I’ll trade it for a good slug gun though.

@@heithwatkins i agree with him. Yes we have electronics in most things now but i dont like them in air rifles. Some people do i know. Have a mixed reaction from the shooters i know.
I wouldn’t entertain a gun with battery and electronics , battery’s run flat or die , not good for reliability , would get the manual mechanical brother to this gun , well if I was gonna buy one , too expensive, cheers Shane uk 🇬🇧

@@shaneweightmanyes but your current car has electronics in it unless you are driving something from 1970. I was playing paintball when the eguns came out. Many used the same arguments back then. It was especially useful in speedball where rof was king. Will I only have an electric rifle? no, but I certainly am not shying away from them either
Daystate and Brocock magazines suck, that’s the reason why the accuracy testing at 50 meters is always done not using them. What’s the point of having magazines which give you less accuracy? If you don’t believe me look at other reviews here or any other channels, they’re all the same unlike reviews of other brands. They suck!
peetje28021970 you are a hater. One shot one kill for quarry and serious benchrest shooters almost ALWAYS single shot load. So please go play in traffic.
Is that not a fact that i stated. I also own fx as well and fx mags have a known issue for pushing pellets inconsistently so AGAIN for accuracy most people shoot single shot. Have a nice day mr happieeee. ROFLMAO
