I think Influx Waver has the best DPS when against a single target (Using the blade itself) However using blade itself against daytime EoL would be a problem since it's just too short (night time is ok)

I use a pretty standard 1080p screen though, nothing too special I think

Technically the starlight itself counted as a projectile, which means if you reach the projectile limit, starlight will no longer work. But I think that's ok, like the murasama of calamity also counted as a projectile yet defined as a true melee weapon.

@@TouhouFumo yeah, I was thinking the same thing. The player still "holds" the weapon sort of. How the code works for weapons like the Starlight and Murasama is that its just a projectile that's mounted to the player's position. In fact, any weapon that isn't swung as a broadsword, such as shortswords, spears, and flails are actually all projectiles. It makes you question how good Terraria's default melee option is if it looks bland and boring as shit, causing everyone to make you use projectiles instead. Anyway, what were we talking about? Oh yeah, uh, starlight is definitely true melee

In my own definition, a weapon that don't shoot out a projectile even when you're swinging to nothing counted as true melee, not a very strict one in general. Anyway, thanks for your like!😊
