Ok just going to put this here a little list of cars, that people SAY it worked on: * Mitsubishi Eclipse 2006-2012 * Mitsubishi Galant 2004 * Mitsubishi Lancer LS, DE, ES 2002-2008 (They have the same ECU just in red or black) * Mitsubishi Endeavor 2008 * Mitsubishi Outlander At least for me it worked, in my 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer ES. If you want to try it just follow the video, if it doesn't work for you, just pull it back, no harm done. Thanks man, much better idea than cutting it of or bending the pin! Hope this little list helps everyone.

I bought a black 07 Eclipse recently that looks new, the only fault was the headlights were awful & ruin the looks of the car. I followed your instructions to rid the daytime running headlights & everything works great when you use the key to lock & unlock the car where the lights blink & horn sounds. After replacing the brake pads on all 4 tires my 2006 Endeavor's DRL WOULD NOT TURN OFF - this was the only fix and a very welcome one! Thank you fine sirs!

With your knowledge I was able not only get rid Of the DTRL, but all so pro-long the life of my LED lights that I had just bought couple months ago! This worked for my Endeavor 05. I did not push down the pin plug, I just used a electrical tape to cover the pin connector with it and worked fine!!

Just got done doing this on my 2005 Mitsubishi Endeavor. Bending the pain was much easier and you can always bend it back.

I just bought my daughter a 2011 spyder gs with factory hid lights and they suck so I'm replacing them with the spec d ones and installing hid in low beam and leaving halogen in high beam.my question is can I connect led strip and halo's to that pin on ecu or pin removed?

Where did you get your running lights/fog lights on the bottom and hold. Did you install it

ive heard of some issues with it, best thing i can say is to bend it and try it, ive heard sometime it stops your windows from working in the 09+

the fogs in this car are the blue halo fogs found on autocityimports

How do yall adjust the spec d projector headlight in our 4g eclipses because the adjusters.are in awkward hard to reach place. The only way is to adjust with bumper off.but u can't get it just right

I have a question about the HID's. I ordered a pair of those aftermarket headlights for my 06 eclipse. I also ordered a few different pairs of H1 HID kits for the projectors. Neither kit came with the plastic housing to connect the HID kit to the factory wiring harness. I've been informed by one of the ebay sellers that they currently don't make a housing for H1 bulbs to fit my car. Is this true? Have you installed a set of HID's on a 06 model eclipse and if so what did you have to do to make them work? If you can help me out I'd really appreciate it.

I know this is an old video, but when I did this on my 2012 eclipse someone I knocked out all my lights plus my radio. I did exactly what he did. When I turn my car on my headlights no longer work at all and my radio is completely dead. Anyone have any idea why?

I got an 07 Galant a few weeks back, I did as you had suggested/instructed and it works, the problem is I think I pushed the pin to far down to where it turned off the regular headlight part. So all I'm left with is the side lights and the High beams, and suggestions to help get it back to using the headlights normally? ?

This works for the 4gen Lancer to as 4gen eclipse and Lancer has the same Ecu.

if you have HID's installed you can cause "flickering" which will burn your ballasts out immediately

try and bend the pin before cutting it :) just bend it out of the way of the insert then put the ecu back in, that should do it for you :)

Does this actually work because my problem with this video is that he turned the car on and no daytime light but the daytime running lights in my 2011 don’t turn on until I put the car in drive so that video really didn’t show me anything because he didn’t put the car in drive and I don’t want to ruin her.

Do you know if this will work on a 2008 Mitsubishi Endeavor? I have HID lights in and I don't want to leave my lights on all the time to prevent them burning out and I'm in the process of installing projectors and Angel eyes and I don't want the bulbs to always be on and over power the eyes.

Couldn't get my Pin to drown down far enough, so I just used Electrical tape on the ECU insert tab.
