Some trivia... in the Budweiser Hitch (or any multi-horse hitch)... the two horses closest to the wagon, are all ways the largest and strongest, as they are the "Wheel Horses" They keep the wagon steady when turning to park and reverse. Remember, this was how beer was actually delivered back in the day. You need to see their full on show, where they show how they hauled beer, and would have to reverse into extremely tight places to unload the beer onto the loading docks.
I read someone who was upset about how the Clydesdales are treated. I watched a documentary about them. The ranch has quite a few of them, and they are treated like royalty. No horse has a better life. The horses are proud to be in the parades. So don't worry about them.
In St Augustine the carriage horses are purchased from the Amish and every horse was abused. The Amish rarely gave them water because their urine harms the crops and they hit them if they found water. So the carriage leaders will put apples in a bucket of water so they'll drink and hydrate themselves. Since the Amish are so abusive to their animals and members... I'll never purchase anything from them.
Man... I was clapping at my screen for those bike riders in the ball racing around the girls. Amazing how they all worked together to start and stop. So amazing! So bad ass!
@adamwest3266 you mean that a majority of the drivers are not natives but transplants from up north 🤫 natives want you out of the left lane we like to go fast 😂
I hope you make it out to the Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis South Dakota this year! It's in the Black Hills. You could hit up Deadwood again! I loved that video you did a while back.
That’s cool to see the Clydesdales again. I saw them a lot when I used to live in Virginia and visited and worked for Busch Gardens. Back then it was owned by Anheuser-Busch and they had the Clydesdale barn there. Loved visiting them. They are really big beautiful horses. They probably still have the barn there but the horses are not the same. A-B had their own special breed that were bigger horses than traditional Clydesdales.
Several years ago I just happened to park down a side street where the Clydesdale horses turned around after a parade and was asked if I would like to get close to them. One of the handlers was the only thing between me and those giants. For me, it was like being close to royalty. They are magnificent 😍
Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA used to have a few stables of the Clydesdales at their part back in the 80’s - saw them a few times - beautiful horses. Great video! I hope your voice comes back soon. Also I’ve been to Sturgis - 90k people crammed in a town that doesn’t have a population over the rest of the year more than 5k - it’s nuts! Thanks, Adam!
Seriously, you have turned me into a blubbering fool this morning. Those horses are truly amazing. Thanks for your videos Adam. Keep doing what you are doing.
Great to see Adam venture from the Disney Bubble out into the Biker Bubble at Daytona Bike Week. The Globe of Death and the Budweiser Clydesdales were indeed awsome!! Thanks for taking us there!
My first bike week was '74. I have seen and done it all over the years. They used to unload the Clydesdales in front of my friends house over on the beach side for the Main Street parade and we would go over to watch. We get the Thunderbirds and The Clydesdales here in Daytona Beach and everything in between.
The Budweiser teams are treated so very well, i would love to have rheir spa day just once in my life. They are beautiful, they are history, they are huge and they are pure magic when you see them in person.
Thank you for always taking us on your amazing adventures! YOU do the Best! Hi from Colorado it was amazing getting to meet you at Opening of flower and garden.
This video was short in comparison to the usual video lengths, but it was action packed! I'm surprised how many people recognized Mr the Woo there, to the point he was distracting people from the Clydesdales. All of those people yelling Woo! Woo! Woo! as the horses are passing almost unnoticed. Your channel has quite a reach!
Been there many times for bike week, always a good time. Nothing like the ride down from Tennessee to Daytona. Thanks Adam for the video hope to see more. Enjoy and be safe
Oh the Budweiser Horses are great , I saw them back in the day at Busch Gardens , I'm sure they played the theme song when they went by , great vlog as always Adam , I hope your throat feels better soon
A while ago I worked for a non-profit that decided to have a motorcycle raffle for a fundraiser. It was my job to research what type of bike to buy. Because it was in Wisconsin I chose a Harley and started to go to different dealerships. I must say I met some of the nicest people who gave of their time and expertise so we could get the best deal (they even didn’t charge their commission!) to help make the fundraiser a huge success!
Thanks for the video Adam! I have been to Daytona Bike week. Always a good time. My friend Whey Jennings is performing at Wild Horse Saloon all weekend. I seen the Clydesdales here in Dayton, Ohio. They are always cool to see.
I'm sure in another life I was a biker I can't ride a bike but I love the bike's sounds and art work. 🤩 People have been waiting for Daytona Bike week all winter ❄️
Oh Adam, you’re in Florida. I’m sure there’s a bikini golf cart wash somewhere in the vicinity! And if you ever get the chance, please visit the Harley Davidson museum in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Even if you’re not a big bike person, it’s a beautifully done museum and easy to appreciate.
Like #767 here, so amazing! Love the Clydesdale horses SO MUCH! And the stunts were out of this world. Manuka honey and tea will fix that horse in your throat! Thanks for the knowledge of the Biker's New Testament, I am going to give one to my brother at Christmastime. God Bless, Adam.
All the years of having our Harley and riding all over, we avoided traveling to bike week like the plague. Way too much traffic and craziness. On a brighter note, having lived in St. Louis and Hannibal,MO over the last 10 years, I spent a lot of time going to Grants farm, and other places, being able to seeing the Clydesdales up close. Such beautiful animals! Grant's farm has a lot of the young ones there. 😊
I'm impressed. You got to meet Dave of crazy dave's trailer. What a great guy that guy is, so many interesting videos that he puts on here. He's part of the rat pack.
Adam as soon as you spoke i could tell your voice was a little scratchy and I’m sorry for that and hope your voice gets better soon, now this bike rally was freaking awesome and i probably had as much fun as you just watching your video and yes it sure beats the time you and Micah went when it was pouring rain, now I must say it must have been an experience you’ll never forget seeing the gorgeous Clydesdale Horses and even though I didn’t see them in person it sure felt like it with how close you were to them, we’ll all and all it was a fantastic day and I’m glad you enjoyed yourself I know I did, now with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Adam and I’ll see you on the next vlog adventure wherever it takes you peace ☮️ out ✌️
Watching the bikes going in the air and twisting- Wow, that’s intense! The horses are beautiful and humorous right? Hope your voice gets better. Thanks for bringing us along Adam.
Missed you not sharing this with Micah…remember that rainy day adventure. The cage with the motorcycles and ladies was insane! Congrats on the house purchase.
I saw the Clydesdales at the Football Hall of Fame Parade this past year and was incredible! I got see where they were staying too! So cool! I have a video of them walking by my car!
HEY ATW...THE CLYDESDALES ARE DESCENDANTS OF THE horses that carried knights in armor into battle. The stature of the large equines allowed them to carry the heavy armor clad warriors as they traveled and fought. Too bad you missed the opportunity to document the filming location for ROTJ "Jabba's Sail Barge" scenes in Yuma, AZ's Buttercup Valley! AlwaysBelieve nailed it! Sad trombone😞
Glad to see you tip the stunt bikers. Some don't appreciate a free show like that. I've paid high ticket prices for the same thing in Arenas. Looks like they didn't even collect enough tips to even pay for the blown tire.
