While Daytona's RoadStar boot has been around since the Flintstone's, there 'upgraded' RoadStar Pro is only a couple of years old. The differences are uprated shin and ankle armour, a more durable outer heel, a better Gore-Tex waterproof membrane, an oil and petrol slip resistant sole and a change to the external graphic's making the boot look more modern and less like an 80's throwback.
This is NOT a review, that will come once I've done 1000 miles (1609 km) in them in various weather conditions.

Good detail, thank you for making the video. Curious if, with the increased armour in the Pro, the sizing is impacted? Would whatever size you are in the Pro translate to the non-Pro version?

I tried both 'standard' and 'Pro' versions at the same time and I didn't notice any difference with regards to the armour. For me, the 'Pro' just felt nicer and suited me. As mentioned in the video, the differences are not great but I honestly believe if you can opt for the 'Pro'.

@@robchisholm72 Thank you for taking the time to reply and share your experience. That helps, and I think I'll go with the "Pro." Part of me thinks, "but the Pro is so much more expensive," and part of me thinks, "but if you're already going to spend $400, why not spend the additional and KNOW you're getting the top-tier of the top boot in the world?" Either that's sound logic or damn good self-justification haha! Thank you again. ✌🤘
