Top Box and Panniers are not cheap investments so it's worth looking after them. Here, I show you how I clean a metal 'adventure' style top box after a week's touring in Scotland with no facility to wash the bike each night. It wasn't until I returned to the Buccleuch Arms Hotel at Moffat, that I was able to give the bike a wash. However road crud and salt had already taken it's toll on the top box.
