Little correction on Grim Embrace. They did not split a reward, it's a secondary effect until you hook 4 different survivors. 1-3 hooks= 12 seconds block. 4 hooks= 40 second block and then gets disabled.
I've been meaning to spread my design of Quick Gambit, considering that I laughed at the devs changing the numbers and hoping it would do something. The design I had in mind was to essentially make it a chase-oriented perk that influences the Killer to focus on you, which could do well in the hands of capable Survivors, and punish Killers who don't break off chase voluntarily. Quick Gambit: When you have the Killer's attention, you know how to keep it; others can be confident they will not be interrupted any time soon. This perk activates when you are in chase with the Killer: Suppress the scratch marks of other Survivors Quieten and muffle nearby sounds, except for your own Suppress loud noise notifications outside of a certain radius "We need not resort to violence. I'm so happy for Hillbilly. I'm less happy about the Oreo changes (we'll see) but BHVR used to refuse to change new mechanics based upon community feedback. It is so, so heartening to see them reverting the original mistake at the same time they're reverting their most recent mistake. Community has had a lot of doom and gloom lately but like this is real growth on the part of the developer! They deserve credit for that. Also I love Blight too, both sides. I'm a baby but he's really fun to face. Sometimes I play against God Blights who play like add-onless without the usual super sweaty stuff and there is so much interplay in all aspects of the chase. I think if they just made STBFL lose stacks with special attack damage rather than any damage at all it'd be in line with what it's meant to do without having any weird unintentional interactions like Trapper's traps or those Pig add-ons that damage survivors for missed box skill checks. Engineer's Fang should probably still count if they can manage that though. Also I'm pretty confident that they can make Billy's collision better because that's already one of his add-ons and I'm 80% sure it works as intended.
With quick gambit they did add this: When you are chased by the Killer, see the auras of gens within 36 meters. (not like this will matter at all lmao) but it is something.
I mained the hell out of her before her rework. Didn’t do that One Pump Willy Wonka cringe shit. Onryō is so boring to play as. I’m glad they’re nerfing her somewhat and bringing back the adding condemned when nearby a TV.
I didn't know Billy got punished for playing right, seems kinda stupid. I'm glad he's getting his skill fixed ,players should be rewarded for playing him correctly.
personal thoughts: really like the blight, hillbilly, and perk changes as think they do balance things. onryo im okay with but wish hooking didnt make condemned stacks perma as think she should be like pyramid head and not kill till death hook or buff pyramid head in some way. the gen regression thing i think is a bit much and should be toned down. make the limited number of regression events activate when there is only one gen left to give wiggle room to new/unexperienced killers that are still learning the ropes
i keep seeing people saying to revert it, but even on survivor side i’d much rather play an infinite rush blight than a (pre ptb) instadown alch ring blight.
Honestly for the 3 gen if the game detects that there is 3 gen Close to each other in the killer is kicking it too much then The entity will block the gen and then teleport somewhere else(just like pyramid head if your close to a Cage survivor are going to move a new place) and when the gens are Teleported then they’ll get unblocked
My only worry is with Onryo being able to tunnel a survivor into a mori by chasing them with multiple teleports, hooking them once and locking in the progress, and then further tunneling them to a mori. Might not always be an issue due to map logistics and such, but definitely something I could see happening. While the tunneling could be detrimental to her, if her teleports are conveniently located for the chase taking health states would be easy for a decent Onryo player and the lack of cooldown would rack up the stacks quickly.
STBFL obsession change is stupid if the do that incorrectly they put the whole power of a perk in the survivors hands I think the grim embrace change might be a little strong it sounds just like dead mans switch but better the killer changes sound nice I'm confused about Ormond I thought it was fine as is on both sides I think MaA and SB could have gotten a little more to them since their main ability got added to base kit but what do I know the gen change i think should only take place with the last three gens maybe i personally don't like it
I’m sorry I still don’t understand the full three GEN thing, so is it that after the eighth kick you can’t kick the same GEN for a ninth time or it just won’t regress anymore but still take the small damage
would highly disagree. blight getting distance addons is a super refreshing new playstyle. billy in his strongest form (besides old skybilly). stbfl brainrot will finally subside. grim embrace buff is solid. it’s a win for killers too imo
3 Gen is dead. This means that many perks are dead and some killers too. Knight and Skull Merchan for example. DbD has a huge balancing problem, since most players don't play well, Killer is always nerfed and you only see the same perks.@@goodbyed0m

Oh great the gen kick meta is back? 8 regressions isn’t gonna stop a 30 min 3 gen. And 5% regression will hurt new players. And players with less then 500hrs don’t even know what gen tapping is.
Kinda insulted that you would treat your subs like that (well ex sub now). Getting rid of gen taps and adding regresstion limits doesn’t solve the problem. I’m just frustrated with the devs solution. I was hoping for a more creative solution that involved changing the meta for killers and survivors. Not a change to gens. If that makes sense.
