That’s why they didn’t make piccolo fuse with kami🤷🏽♂️ there would be no reason for super Sayian and keep in mind that piccolo fused with kami after all that training he went through with goku
You know even with the music, Funimation was able to create strong powerful emotions like dread during its run. IDGAF what people say about the original dub, it was awesome
@@0doublezero0 my theory is while he was there he spent a lot of time arguing with him, which really took away king Kai’s time to teach everybody. After Piccolo was wished back, they spend the rest of the time observing the fight.
Tbf he had one more transformation 'fuse with kami' which alone was more than enough for final form frieza. Just a shame it wasn't possible in that situation
@@shoken4421 if we play the what if game then if freiza had even trained enough to master his final form then he would have killed everyone in his first form alone
Anthony Hutchins in this case it’s completely different. There was no barrier to overcome like it was with super sayian. Piccolo and kami could’ve fused at any time, even during the sayian saga.
Lol not gonna lie because of watching the TFS version recently I totally forgot about Piccolo continuing to fight this form once he'd removed the weighted clothing. Actually makes me want to watch DBZ all over again.
@@morebrainmoregains3234 in dbs anime when frieza met frost at the top. frieza shown frost how to go 100%, only for frieza to immediately eliminate frost as soon after frost powered up to 100% final form. Frieza Telling frost "never trust anyone"
What is DBJJ? Piccolo is Piccolo, he currently has been fused with Nail but he is just Piccolo. At present, Piccolo is pushing out 30% more power level than hybrid rage enhanced Gohan when he first supressed second form Frieza's slightly over "1 million battle power/power level" by being 30% beyond that power level of 1 million. This means Piccolo is roughly 1.7 million in "power level" during this fight and Gohan later surges up to 2.2 million for a brief moment where he saves Piccolo from 3rd form Frieza. Vegeta most likely attains 2.3 to 2.4 million where he thinks he became a Super Saiyan, only to be stomped down by Frieza's 4rth and final form that wa sonly puting out 1% of his max 120 million power level. Which is where power levels go wonky as it is clear he is putting out less power but moving at a speed that is much faster than that level of power should allow, allowing him to easily beat down on Vegeta who is more or less putting out twice the power of Frieza. Goku soon arrives with a power level of 3 million as his base power but his level of speed is equal to Frieza at the time, only gaining a slight edge due to being able to directly sense the flow of ki that Frieza has to confirm with his own eyes before he is able to react or move(not sure how Frieza got so powerful while being limited to the 5 basic senses + tactical coordination of combat awareness and no ki sensing ability to bolster all that, must be a reference to how powerful politiciansand businessmen are so called psychopaths devoid of the power to sense or value~appreciate the emotions of others in 'real-time' but still have so much control over everyone via simple use of intimidation... Frieza was supposed to be symbolic of the corperate world devouring souls of those who hold it up).
In the manga, this played out much differently. In the manga, Frieza decided to transform right when Piccolo removed his weighted clothing. This was likely because Frieza realized that if Piccolo gave him enough trouble whilst his power was still sealed, it was best not to take any chances and for sure increase his power dramatically to the point that any slight boost Piccolo may get would be worthless. I’m kind of split on whether or not this was a good narrative decision. Here is what I mean: On the one hand, it shows that as cocky as Frieza was, he still could read the situation and wanted to ensure that he’d be able to close the gap enough to where his opponents would have no conceivable way of catching up. This was pretty consistent with Frieza’s character throughout, such as when transformed the first time because Vegeta was able to barely keep up and he realized the power of Gohan and Krillin was steadily increasing as the battle went on which meant that nearly boosting his power by 100% would be enough to shift the goalpost. Other examples would be when Frieza transformed for the 2nd time after Gohan nearly killed him in his so as not to take any chances despite Gohan using up all his power, when Frieza boosted his power by 49% when Goku was actually able to give him WAY too good of a fight when he was fighting at a mere %1, and finally when Frieza decides to just go 100% when fighting SSJ Goku because he was so helpless against Goku at 50%. On the other hand, not showing in the manga just how much Piccolo’s power increased is kind of a let down because the reader wouldn’t be able to properly gauge how much better Piccolo would have fared against Frieza’s second form. Including this filler segment at least gave Frieza more justification to boost his power given that Piccolo was able to land way too many good hits after Frieza was finally using all his power in his 2nd form so Frieza deciding to transform was fully justified. Just my thoughts.
Im guessing that since picollo has a "clothes beam" that he keeps upgrading the weight on his outfit? Cuz if he didnt... idk why taking off his hat has any effect at this level
I like how everyone in the crew gave Frieza the hands at least once..Vegeta first form, Gohan, krillin(tail) and piccolo second form,Gohan third form, Goku final
"It doesn't matter how quick I make a move, he still beats me" Ok, but you can still block his very telegraphed hit or move out of the way Piccolo haha.
It honestly annoys me that as the seasons went on. They phased out piccolo more and more. He was the one guy you need when it’s time to go to war. Not for his power but the guy had heart and would take one for the team
"it doesn't matter how quick I make a move he still beats me"... yeah well if you spent time moving rather than talking to yourself you would've dodged in time
Honestly my 2 favorite characters. Freiza is just the main villain in Dragon Ball and he always comes back. He is obsessed with being the strongest in the universe and I respect that because he is powering up and getting stronger for nobody but himself. Straight evil. What makes me love a villain. Piccolo is never afraid to run the fade. He always had so much grit and he didn’t care how strong his opponent was he just focused on winning. Except for Buu but he was on another level than everyone in that arc.
Back when they didn't rush the fights or the plot build-up..... How long does the Goku/Freiza fight last, like 4 hours?? Good stuff! This generation is too impatient.
