DBZ Scene: 18 Saves the Plane 

The best thing about the filler in DBZ was that it gave non-saiyan characters a chance to do something. For a character that just has so much potential, 18 is one of the most underutilized characters in the series.

18 was annoyed with Yamancha lol. She was like "how can someone be so useless "?

She the most under used character in the series to me. it'd been cool to see her fight more and team up with the z fighters more often.

18 is hot and a badass

What I love about this scene is that 18 is on this plane with a bunch of people she's known for the past 7 years or so, but she gives her daughter to Videl who she's maybe known for the past 3 hours.

Even when Yamcha has the power to save the day his stupid kicks in. 18 ftw!

This just proves Bulma cares for Vegeta and Vegeta cares for Bulma

Ngl, this is a very badly written filler scene. Aside from 18 somehow struggling to lift a plane, I don't care how little you think of Yamcha, he's not a complete idiot. The varying levels of intelligence among the Dragon Team when forced to choose important decisions, and the strange out-of-character decisions they make is something I noticed in this series, but that's another topic. There is no way someone with superhuman strength is going to pass up on the opportunity to save others. Hell, that's the entire point of Roshi's training. I mean I get the point of this scene. 18 has been poorly used in this story arc, and that's due to Toriyama's negligence, but the way this scene is handled just irks me really. Even when Yamcha can do the same thing, they can still have 18 be the one to save them. Have Yamcha call out to her to guide the plane while he sticks to the controls. It gives 18 a heroic moment and doesn't make Yamcha look stupid for no reason other than fake drama/comedy.

The Good Thing about the Dragonball Z Filler is that you can Save the Good Guys even when not being a Sayian.

For someone who's supposed to be stronger than Frieza, 18 sure had a Hell of a time catching the plane and seemed to struggle when putting it down

she was basically the only one who can hold up the plane because even though videl and Yamcha could fly , videl doesn’t have the super human strength the other z fighters possess and I feel yamcha would be to weak because at that time he stopped fighting since the android saga which was 7 years ago since it’s the buu saga now in clip but I feel he’d still have trouble even if he tried since the force of it coming down even though being stronger than an average human

All of you forget that, for all of our ribbing, Yamcha actually isn't that strong to counter the force of a descending jet with seven people. The jet probably weights 10 metric tonnes. Multiply by 9.8 m/s/s, and, well, uh thats a lot, and plus Yamcha needs to maneuver the plane because he's the pilot, and engine 2 is still thrusting, causing extra force.
