So if i see this correctly, no friendly fire on range and we can focus fire on fatties meaning 2 hits = 1 wounds , 4 hits means 2 dead fatties. The rules are getting better by the game
"Hey Alex... have you ever had to use all the miniatures of a certain zombie type in a game?"... Alex rapidly eye rolls for several seconds... Classic!
I'm expecting to get the Super Sons and the other major characters in DCEASED as stretch goals. I LOVE the idea of having Bruce & Damian Batmen teaming up with Peter and Miles' Spider-Men fighting off zombified hoards
This and marvel zombies are probably the best zombicide. I no longer like the search equipment/item mechanic in other zombicides (not very thematic) where you can search items in any buildings. The search equipment of dceased is better wherein you dont know which building a specific equipment is. The power and hunger mechanic are also the best additional mechanic because you are given choices on when to use your power and how much power will you use or not. The game is more strategic since there is power/hunger management. I also like that in some missions.. certain abominations are invincible until certain conditions to kill them are met. I hope in dceased only abominations will have the extra activation like in zombicide invader. I also like that dceased and marvel zombies are streamlined because zombicide in general has many rules to remember which causes many rule mistakes
Lol! I had this on in the background while working, so I was only kind of half watching this and partially listening, and I kept thinking I was hearing Meg say, "Hot Girl" instead of "Hawkgirl." The first time, I thought, oh, did you just forget the character's name and start calling her that? Then, a second later I remembered what character she was using and it hit me that I just misheard it, but then I couldn't NOT mishear it for the rest of the video. Also, I almost wish you would have used Batman to take out Superman, but in a way it also makes sense that he didn't... "I hate you. You must be destroyed... wait, your mom's name is Martha too? Ok, we can be friends."
I just recently learned about the existence of these games. I ended up picking up 3 of the Marvel Zombies Zombicide games while bargain hunting on the secondary market. I have to Original Marvel Zombies kickstarter, the first expansion and X-Men Resistance. I paid 80.00 for the 1st, 45.00 for the expansion and 100.00 for X-Men Resistance. There are so many sets out there now and I'm wondering if chasing them all is going to be a good idea for me. I'm hoping that they make some kind of mobile or PC version of these games with online play. There could be one hero team, one Zombie Hero Team with AI controlled Zombie Mobs and bystanders, I think it would be hugely successful.
Gosh.. i feel that i need to get this so that i can play Batman with Iron Man. My wife gonna get a shock. Cause i back White plaque, Marvel zombie and company of heroes.
Curious when hawkman spawns and it says push towards other enemies, wouldnt it be towards other zombies? Not towards other heroes, genuinely not sure was just curious
why didn't hawk girl get max power when she saved Martha? Did they change that rule in DC? Sorry, too lazy to go look at the WIP rulebook *Edit - I mean Green Canary
I have Zombicide Night of the Living Dead, Marvel United, and Street Fighter Legends coming my way. No way do I need another dungeon crawler... But we never really need any game do we 🤔
@@seansmith2650 Nope, the core box from the kickstarter. Target had their recurring buy 2 get 1 free, which they allow you to buy 3 of the same item and cancel 2, so the remaining item gets recalculated to 33% discount. They also offered a 25% discount on any toy/game which could be applied to the B3C2 promo, effectively giving a 58% discount in any board game they carry.
@@seansmith2650 It's not a "knock off" it's the OTHER core-set, there are two. Also it's "X-Men Resistance". To answer the OP, the differences are minimal, but there are some. This has a heavier focus on items and being able to pick up and use tokens on the map. But it's very similar to the Hero-version of MZ, and should be easy to houserule crossovers if you would like. About 90% compatible it seems.
@@Templar462 there actually is X-men resistance AND heroes resistance. The second one is a “spin off” made by just spin masters and without CMON…it’s basically just a smaller core box
Target had Marvel Zombicide for $55, same price for undead or alive. Its hardly worth it to pay $180 for a kickstarter edition unless you think the extra minis for the stretch goals are worth $125 of your money
@@jbringas9582it was the full game. But that deal expired days ago. And somewhat hit or miss. You had to have a 25% off target circle deal on your account. Then buy 3 copies during the buy 2 get one sale. Then cancel 2 of the 3. Lol
Another copy and paste CMON Zombicide game. I can't understand how they just put a new theme on the same mediocre gameplay and convince people to spend several hundreds of dollars to buy it all despite probably never playing all the previous content they already have.
I like zombies. I like boardgames. I like superheroes. I REALLY like miniatures. Seems like an easy explanation to me. And no, I have not played all of the missions in my plural Zombicide all-in kickstarters. Nor have I played every video game I own, and yet I still buy a couple games every time Steam has a big sale. Sometimes it's just nice knowing you have options and potential. Sounds like you don't care for zombicide, and that's fine. Continue enjoying whatever games make you happy instead, that I probably also hate and would judge you back for. :D
