@@RattlerSSBN I've been waiting since 2003... always wanted the E over the C :) My wallet though is constantly hiding :D Next month or last week of this one would be perfectly fine for me, but I prefer to get it in a decent state anyway.
These presentation videos are a blessing and curse at the same time. I'm waiting for this plane since the release of the A-10C. The best plane of the USAF
I hope my favorite Razbam Harrier module feature carries over to this module: when you click the stick to disappear the throttle also disappears. I don’t know why you can’t hide the throttle in ED modules, they’re usually in the way more than the stick is!!!
Seriously, can't adjust the lights in the Hornet without HOTAS or key mappings or sliding the throttles around - and I'm in VR, so I even try looking around them :D
Looking forward to buying the module very much - Its all very familiar after years of flying Janes F-15, which featured all of these avionics at a comparable level of detail.
Please make these customizable from day one. A simple .lua file similar to countermeasure programs is enough. I'm sure our favorite modder Bailey *will* make an editor for it.
Important critique to make this series the best possible: The volume is way to low on this video. RU-vid recommends -13 to -15 Lufs. Please set your limiter appropriately, RAZBAM.
Can you model a DTM. We always fly w/ a DTM inserted. Also, I see an ARMT selection, but not PACS (Programmable Armament Control Set). Otherwise, incredible job.
So excited! Please Gib! I'm very good at crashing planes into the ground if you need any help testing the destruction model. I've crashed the F14A and B, the F16C, the F18C, the F15C, and the F-5E. I've also crashed the F117 and the AH-64D
Hmm.. So with this "in command" system, can the front seat be in AA mode and the back seat be in AG mode? Or something like that? I'm just wondering if it's possible for the front seat to defend against bogies while the back seat is still setting up targets, or dropping bombs at the same time. That would be super cool!
Yes but can only fire one type of weapon at once. Ie front can be merged and back can be looking through the pod to find the target. Obviously if your merged the back seater shouldn't be doing ag but they can
The master mode effects both seats. So no, you can’t expend ordinance of both types at the same time. What you can do however, is still make use of the systems (AG radar or TGP) in an AG targeting mode while in AA master mode for example. You will need to switch master modes in order to expend ordinance however.
I still know people who would say about me, oh hes playing video games They think this for example is like space invaders or like a mario side scroller
Notso, I want to compliment you on the job you’re doing with these videos…best I’ve seen. As much as I love the Mudhen, I wasn’t sure I’d have the time to learn another AC. With your help I’m not worried now. Cheers.
Those are the features I've been missing in the Hornet especially since ED added the binding of some pages to the master modes. Makes me want the 15E even more now :)
Absolutely fantastic work on this cockpit, so much job that have gone in to all the systems. Can´t, but will have to wait.... but this is sure to be my favorit aircraft in DCS!
f-15c of those i have is so far my favorite, but i still have not really even tried my hornet except for some acrobatics to confirm the nose authority/low speed rep, which, it seems to emulate fine. My next thing to buy was going to be the supercarrier, the apache, maybe a new map...but f-15 has been my favorite since the 80's, I had some type of gi joe airplane back then that really defined for me what a fighter plane should look like and i'm pretty sure it was an f-15 or shaped like it. Point is, this would be the one plane i could not pass up. I look forward to getting it but then dread learning it.
@@RW-zn8vy well it’s just a game at the end of the day besides many of these planes are Soviet era , and don’t forget that planes like the typhoon or Apache which relatively new are being made so it’s about the legality rather than the availability of the info
@@AbdulahAlHowajrah the eurofighter being made is an older model and the Apache is the d model which is pretty old also the west has more relaxed laws compared to the east. Russia will not allow their aircraft to be modeled on such detail. Dcs isn’t war thunder, they won’t just simply add an aircraft into the game and pretend. They study so much and dig very deep to get info on whatever aircraft that’s seeing modeled.
@@RW-zn8vy and that’s my point it’s not about the legality , as I can look for the info in any publicly available source and since the info is available then anybody can use it besides nobody is going to give away any secret information , if any information is there then DCS is allowed to use according to my simple understanding. Anyway with or without the game is great
having put well over 1,000 hours in the dcs F-18, the displays look similar, but there are some subtle differences. For example, the screen you have control over is indicated by a little star in the corner on the F-18, not the bars at the bottom of the screen, as indicated here. Also, the way you switch between the screens to control them is different in the F-18. You simply sensor control right or left or down to control the respective screens. There's no duration component that swaps between programs, as shown here. (it's been a while since i've flown the DCS 18, someone will correct me if i'm wrong, it's crazy how quickly you lose memory of how all those things work)
@@skykaptain007 Viper HOTAS is dogshit compared to the rest. Hornet/Harrier/Eagle/A-10 It just doesn't do much/has no flexibility. Hornet will absolutely transfer better.
Probably not implemented yet. Implementing L16 properly (which I am sure Razbam will since the docs are available) takes a lot of time, effort and attention to detail. Hopefully this wont be a magic ON/OFF switch like in ED's modules.
I'm talking about clarity and readability of those fonts btw. Please don't tell me that you guys still using that same .ini config files just like in Harrier?
