I've been learning the JF17. I'm proficient in several other modules. The Auto VS Man on the tpod for laser wasn't the same for me. Instead LSR was in that spot. When I pressed the button, the laser turned on. Basically acted like a manual mode. Not sure if it's a change to the JF or if I did something. Either way bombs hit.
Hey, thank you for this tutorial! At 2:53 you said that you may switch to another pods. Am I right that in this case you were talking about missiles? Because there are no other pods for JF-17, as I know.
This is the best standoff jet in the game, but the tpod seems to only want to lock up to 21 miles. Just getting into it so hopefully I'm wrong but man that would defeat my purpose to getting it, I want all the glideys!
21 miles seems like a very long range for the tpod to work. I doubt that would even work IRL. For very long range stuff you're either going to have pre-planned coordinates or perhaps use the radar.
The weird zoom is caused by having the "wrong" axis assigned. What you want is the "T6_Axis: Antenna elevation (slide)" NOT "T6_Axis: Antenna elevation".
Is there any way to slave back to your SPI after slewing your TGP off of it? You said that S2 depress when in Snow Plow resets TGP to starting position and S2 depress when in SLAV clears the SPI. Seems like there should be a HOTAS for SPI slaving. Awesome series btw! I'm enjoying it.
