And very huge in as much as many people will turn up their nose at the FC3 planes so the redfor is always at a disadvantage with players. I know leatherneck is a little preoccupied but a mig-21 II for a fee would be much appreciated
@@dimitriapostola3119ironically, those same people will be at a massive disadvantage compared to even the FC3 people since FC3 has a tendency to over model and over simplify systems, often to the benefit of the FC3 aircraft.
I'm afraid that 2024 will brings on our heads...nuclear war heads, and the real ones, if sleepy Joe and Co. continue in the same spirit! And for the rest, ED's announcements are really very promising!

With the addition of more space in the Pacific War Front of WW2, wonder if anyone of the companies have thought about making the P-38 Lightning. We know they were in Europe, but big in the Pacific.

There were also clips of the A-7 and A-6, plus footage of the F-4 appearing to operate over jungle terrain and a overhead shot of a B-52 on a bombing run over a forested area. Perhaps a South East Asia map is in the works? There are already a few flyable aircraft from that era in the game.
I definately saw an A6M Zero, this time. Not a Focke Wulf in Japanese markings. And a Hellcat!? More excited about that one than the F4U Corsair. And it will probably come out before it, too. Man, lotsa good stuff on the way. I can't afford it all!
Iraq, Afghanistan, high fidelity Mig-29A and Mig-23MLA! Think about the possibilities with Afghanistan. Campaigns where you are escort/CAS in the Mig-23 out of Kabul/Bagram. Mi-8 missions supporting FOB’s and OP’s out of Faizabad. Hind gunship missions covering the “highway” convoys in a logistics nightmare, or answering calls for help from the FOB’s and OP’s of Wakhan!
Thx for the news, I'm excited by the arrival of the Mig-29, as I new very got into the FC3 aircraft as I bought after I have the Huey, F/A-18 Hornet, M2000C and a number of WWII full fidelity aircraft. So I didn't like the FC3 pack. Now with a full fidelity Mig-29 coming, I'll be picking it up. With the F4 Phantom II, F4U Corsair and Chinook. Plus, Possibly the Kiowa.......damn...... 2024 could be expensive 😂
All in all so many great editions to the sim coming in 2024. It will be a solid year for maps and the F4 is probably going to blow sales out of the water lol!! Good 4 us all!!
My first DCS purchase was the ka black shark on DVD before we even had DSC, it's amazing to see how every new release still gives me that same feeling of greatness, onwards and upwards.

Also im exited to see more from those FOUR new maps and the MIG29... Although i don't normally like the Russian/Soviet aircrafts but i consider giving the MIG29 a shot... @@kp840 Yeah, I'm not sure I buy that argument, though I understand it. Caucasus has lots of trees. Sinai has really dense cities in places, and while Cairo can get kinda chuggy it still runs well on my 4y/o system. Also A LOT of Vietnam was cultivated, especially in the river valleys. Lots of cities, towns, villages, no different than any other map. There's got to be ways to render jungle without turning the map into a slideshow. At least in the big patches where one would only ever be flying over it, not navigating around/through it.

Ok so the fulcrum I am really excited for even though it’s about 35-40 years old version being modeled . Here’s hoping they nail the flight dynamics the avionics of the era the speed charwecteritcs countermeasure ndbs etc this may open the doors for further modules or at least systems . Then I hope the modders will leap from it from their.
i hope one day. there would be tower ai giving you a taxi route instructions to follow to parking area. wouldn't need to be mandatory but would be awesome to enable and disable it from special menu. i'm excited for deck crew instructing to parking or elevator and tow vehicles taking you into te parking slot under the deck and out. idk does this ever get enhanced but it would be even better for those who seek that experience

Although I don't think I'd use/buy the Fulcrum, that's a good addition for the redfor people, having a full fidelity aircraft which you don't need to keep on assigning keybinds for everything, cause remembering every single keybind is a huge task.
I think I may be in the minority here but a hard pass for me on the MiG-29A - (maybe if I won one lol). It offers NOTHING to the REDFORCE that you don't get from FC-3 except maybe proper radio communications, perhaps a better damage model. A2G is VERY limited. - K model would be so much better. Still no fly by wire but carrier ops, Fox-3 capable, data-link - REFORCE needs something NEW, unfortunately I'm sure hands are tied for modern AC - (Su-30 would be great but I'm sure classified). The MiG-23 or MiG-27 would be more exciting for the COLD WAR ERA and as comparable to the Viggen.
Where is that Kiowa oh-58, that wasn't supposed to be last year? Afghanistan terrain, or Pakistan map- Super looking forward! What it must look like in msfs2020, meantime. One good thing is msfs2020 has the Bell chopper now!
Good to see that we are getting a full fidelity Mig 29. I think a lot of people will be very happy with it. I thought I once learned that ED was involved at some point. 2024 looks very good for Redfor fanatics. Now we just have to wait and see if everything comes "on time". I'm guessing at the end of 2025 for the Mig 29 :)
I got the feeling the trailers are done in a graphically improved version not accessible to the public. With higher draw distances and better colour mixing. Example videos of max settings never look that good.
hello😊, might be that in the video we can see a kill of a Mig-17 with an sparrow from a F-4 like Vietnam War? it could see the drop tanks and the airframe of the 17 before the missile hit it. very subtle. what do you think?
Im unclear on something regarding maps. If there is gonna be a whole world map?, why is there still regions being released? will the world map be lower quality or how is that gonna work?
