@@plazma1945 You can do it, but you gotta stay low, radar off, and stay fast. If you get under 300 knots in a turn fight you are hosed. The acceleration in the F-5 is terrible. I was going to make a video about this soon.
Hi Plazma , It's Dave (Puffin) here 👋 That is another fabulous video. With all due respect to other DCS creators, they do not come close to fulfilling what I am really after as someone new to flying sims, particularly mil jet sims. The layout you use with Tacview is simply perfection. Your commentary alongside it is absolutely spot on. I think I said previously, but just in case I did not get my point across, your oral account of what we have visually marries up perfectly. You are clear, intelligible and accurate but somehow, without getting shouty or hyperbolic, you make it very exciting. Honestly, I'm not kidding, finding your channel that has lots of SU content, that helps a very much newb, like me, but also shows strategic & tactical thinking & how that plays out? Man alive, it does not get any better for me 😁 I hope I can get proficient enough at some point that I would be able to fly with you & your team. I think that may be quite a way off in the future though 😞 Guess I need to keep practicing 😀 I am still gobsmaked to see how great your content is but people will not recognise that by simply subscribing 😠 I'll do what I can to help promote your fantastic videos. Couldn't edit my commentary so I had to post a new one: A question: How do you extract video parts of your kill from different directions? Via the DCS replayer? A lot of videos seem to be automatically zooming in... how to achieve all this?

Nice video and nice cinematic shots, how do you record those cinematic shots? I couldn't find a way to do it properly as the boarder of the screen have UI's around them
What is your computer, screen, resolution? I can only see the enemies at close range very often I am sweeping my radar or vertical scan to lock something. I know where it should be and point that way the radar.
Fantastic video and good job on the 6x! For some reason when I play on the growling sidewinder with this plane I can’t get used to the datalink because of the spoils from the f16. Do you have any tips to better understand the datalink? I already know the basic symbology but I still have a hard time understanding how to interpret it for a good kill.
so ... good news / bad news ... good news - su-27 has not been changed much since you last played. most of the controls and functionality will be the same J-11 has been added with the R77 missiles Su-33 exists with more stations and carrier take off and landing capability if you do not yet have DCS modules, grab the FC3 modules from dcs world website its on sale now. ... beyond that if you recall anything about DCS world its not much changed. we are still finding features in the DCS world videos from 10 years ago as forgotten features inside of current flankers which we are using :) if you have specific questions drop it here or jump to this thread I just created : ru-vid.comUgkx9cHyokRgP_Lj7cYDiOREAJ1ufc2BqzIm we can see what we can answer!

There is no way that blue Force should be able to clap a flanker or a MiG-29 in a dog fight or bfm that is just wrong!! However in BVr are yes it can get destroyed, you must learn how to defeat and Notch the a120 missiles and then come back in harder and angrier with Er and r77
my main goal is to help my team.. if the blue team keeps stumbling into me. I will take it. Did the tacview make sense, was not too distracting? PS did you see how that F-18 missed helping out his buddy who i gunned down :( .
