Awesome video, thanks for posting! I never dared crossing the enemy airfield so high, I always go in at 10 feet :) When you found that unfortunate 190, you could hear Groundhog on the radio, they met an enemy formation over Brussels, so not all calls were meant for your squadron 'Halstead'. Later on you'll get your gyro sight too, don't worry. I find deflection shooting very difficult when you switch between Il2 and DCS, somehow gunnery is very different. You need to apply a lot more lead in one than in the other and it always confuses me.
I love the Jug for ground-pounding but it handles like a pig for me in A2A. 240mph throttles to the firewall and a 2G pull dips a wing. Once I dive and hit a bandit I can't get any altitude back for another hit-and-run. By far the hardest aircraft to learn at A2A in DCS.
Playing through Horrido and loving it but haven't gotten the Jug yet. Love to hear (or a link if I missed it) on what makes it your favorite! Hope you're safe and well!
Ease of use: it’s stable, it can do lots of things well. Difficulties: only a few at the start when learning engine management and how to fight in it. The P-51 is easier, but the 47 is simply marvellous imo
