Damon from @DailyDrivenExotics back and is tired of taking L's on THIS vs THAT, ha! He brought his 2019 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ along with all 12 cylinders. But fellow Canadian Austin’s been playing with this Chevrolet C10 in his barn for a year, it's 4x4, v8 and has a turbo to make up for the lack of cylinders in this race. I dig that you guys keep having Damon on the show. I love the whole Hoonigan crew but honestly Damon catches a lot of very unfair hate and people think he’s cocky or arrogant and that’s just not the case. Yeah on camera he is a personality but I met him at a car show in LA a few years back, I had my daughter that was 5 at the time and he was so sweet and patient with her even tho people were screaming for his attention he acted like nobody else was even around. Damon is an awesome dude and I love the Hoonigan/DDE co-labs. Y’all need to build a car together

2:09 SVJ stands for "Superveloce Jot." Superveloce means "superfast" in Italian, and Jota is a designation used for Lambos geared towards track performance.

I've watched probably all of This vs That, and this particular edition is the best yet. Two Canadians with totally mismatched vehicles and great banter between them raced hard, and the hodge podge truck finished ten minutes before the race actually won. I love it. Damon in his priceless Lambo was totally cool with losing, because his car sounds like god singing, and he's always having fun, while the young bloke in somebody else's overalls is blown away with the fact he beat an awd Lambo in his first drag race. This was the best drag race ever on this channel.

Honestly this was one of my favorite videos on this channel. Love the close competition, and love how the Canadian was shaking after first run, I've been there, actually every year first time down the track I get that way. Awesome great content and really special thanks for both those guys for bringing them.

I LOVE square body chevys. But I also LOVE the sounds out of the n/a V-12. But the garage build won me over. Stoked to see him take it. The sportsmanship was stellar.

yooo that was an awesome race, I felt a connection with the truck and the driver man, like "I'm gonna build something that crazy one day." and well, he kind of did but the dedication to drive down to cali from east coast canada is amaze-balls. one of my favorite episodes.
