started off the year amazing, im glad he improved on his 3 this year... but he fell in love with it a little to much towards end of season :(. HOPE HE CAN FIND A BALANCE NEXT YEAR
As a Kings fan I watch Fox play all the time but have not appreciated how fast and elegant his play is, he doesn’t look like he’s working, looks too easy for him.
The start of his season was very promising, it looked like he took the next step but with his unexpected decline, so did the Kings. Disappointing season individually for him in my opinion. The number are about the same as last year with a 5% decline in field goals percentage and that’s after a hot start too.
I don’t think it’s as bad as the numbers suggest, he shot worse at the rim at 52% opposed 58% last year but he made 37% of his threes this year opposed to 32% last year. Obviously the FG drop is a little concerning but overall not that bad considering he’s naturally a slasher but if he can continue to develop the 3 point strike he’ll be able to consistently bring defenders above the 3pt line. That’ll create more blow bys, easier finishes at the rim and even more playmaking opportunities. I think it’s natural at this time.
@@dtp_drip2659so he didn’t shoot 52 percent at the rim, or 58 last year. That’s his overall % on 2 pointers total. At the rim, or 0-3 feet, he shot 72 percent and 80 percent last year.
I thought he was better this past season. His defense improved a lot. He's a 2 way star guard to me. Plus no help from the starting role players that's all. They need more consistency from them.
@@schuylersavage276He's the played for a bottom-feeding Wolves & Bulls teams, so far. It's incredibly difficult to say he's not a player that contributes to winning basketball when nearly every team he's been on is hurt and/or rebuilding. He's had two chances on winning teams (in 9 seasons). Ran into the defending Champion Bucks, and I believe they lost the Play-In game vs. Cleveland last season.
