It's honestly taken far too fucking long. Similar bands like Muse (or all bands, truly) had money thrown at them to force popularity- it's time this crew got their dues. They're honestly the only band I have followed in the past 10 years.

I'm a Dutchie living in New Zealand and trying my god damn hardest to convert everyone here to becoming a fan. Stunning. The fact this isn't just the same band who released Who's Gonna Be The GOAT, but they are on same LP is just more evidence De Staat are one of the most interesting, eclectic and creative bands in the world.

To me, the lack of commercial support or publicity that De Staat receives and their continued success in spite of being largely ignored by the mainstream is proof that the music industry is trying to push the public in a direction that we wouldn't otherwise go....
