This song is timeless, epic, amazingness!!! Deacon Blue - Top Notch crew forever! Scotland is the best - best - best!!! Please let me come home to my roots Scotland. Canadian and my Great grandfather was from there and it is simply in my blood and heart. I want to be 'home.' When I visit Scotland, it truly feels like home. Let ancestors come back, as so many were forced out...
A grew up in Glasgow with this amazing song and one of the most underrated bands ever best times of my life never missed a concert since 86 well seen there Scottish used to see Lorraine with the amazing dance routine and singing voice there both a fantastic combination well seen there flying the flag for SCOTLAND well proud to be a Scot 🏴🏴🏴👍👍
Oooh I love them ! I've just discover their songs. I prefer listen to 80s and 90s bands than nowadays music. Sounds better ! The duet Rick and Lorraine, they are gorgeous
Just hit 50 years old...Remember these "punk" kids...Am I old?..Now I hear they are releasing music again... Go Deacon and I hope you get a new fan base. xx ( may have posted on another DB track)
There were so many Great song's during the 80's but A Ship Call Dignity will be always one the the Greatest, In a post Covid lockdown world I'd love for this to be re-released with one change to the title A Ship Called Liberty 2021
Going to Manchester in October to see them myself... My first ever concert, what a xmas present off the wife that was Cant wait .. brilliant band ... I will be 59 in October and will dance and sing every word with them
Fantastic. Dignity was the first song I heard back in the 80s. I brain washed many a friend (and neighbors) with their music and we're still friends! 😁 I probably wore out the Raintown LP. What a great sound.
Long live Deacon!! ROCKIN ON IN 2022!!! THIS is music that makes you actually feel ALIVE - set it up again, set it up again, set it up, set it up..................Thats all I want when I retire - a little dinghy! Sadly I havent saved anything much 😔
Tudo foi uma doce nostalgia de sonhos, objetivos e perspectivas... tudo era uma doce emoção. As manhãs, o dia a dia... tudo era "mágico". Nossa juventude e sonhos...
I remember drinking at a pub in waikanae NZ and met some English people there, I mentioned deacon blue real gone kid and they freaked out. They asked me if I ever heard this song and I hadn’t yet anyway years later it’s still a favourite of mine.
