Hey Kevin not sure if you will actually see this but just wanted to share a quick story. When WAW released my group of friends were so hyped for zombies and the dlc's came and we loved it. Many nights would be spent playing and reaching for high round/ scores . My friends and I have played all zombies regularly up till Der Eisendrach. This map was the last map that my best friend and our squad played and completed the easter egg etc before he died suddenly. Thank you and Elena and everyone else from Treyarch for what will forever be a positive experience that I will never lose. R.I.P BluntDangers420 I know you are still slaying zombies in heaven now.
Time flies by so quick, I remember getting my first job in HS so I could buy a ps4 before bo3 came out, now I’m 22 working all the time, truly feels like it was yesterday
Fucking fantastic, Mr. Sherwood. Beautiful instrumental, fantastic lyricism, flows very well. Easily up there as one of your best, alongside 115 and Pareidolia.

@@desox123 except it didn't. It was different and the community didn't like it. Activision is what went wrong with bo4. For me bo4 is better than bo2 zombies because bo2 only had 2 good maps. Bo4 is underrated. Cw is when zombies got butchered
Oh my god the nostalgia. Hearing this brought back all the times I used to play WAW and the original black ops with my friends. Elena's voice has always been incredible, and I am so happy to hear it again. A zombie song hasn't hit me this hard since the first black ops. I'm in awe, and I really hope we'll hear more from her in the future maps. If they're anything like this, we're in for some god damn amazing music!
Exactly the same thoughts as me! Once I heard this song, I said, "Elena is back!" Bringing back the nostalgia and memories, plus the amazing story of zombies. Including how beautiful Elena's voice is to these songs. The songs are very meaningful to zombies, and life itself.
Let's be honest here. While the maps are fun, we all play for the music!... now me and my friends have a running joke of "ugh who did it". always a race to get there first. Your work, from one artist to another, is beauty

The nostalgia from 2016 of trying to do the Easter Egg over and over again and each time failing at the boss fight, but finally beating it was such a great feeling. I miss these days. You’re amazing Kevin and Elena. The combination of the instrumental and vocals is honestly some of the best music I’ve ever gotten to hear.
You were doomed from the start I guess judging by the titles Dead Again, Dead Flowers, Dead Ended, and The Gift. Meaning there was no end, no escape, just death.
This was my favourite Easter egg song of them all. I think this was absolutely the peak of my gameplay. Easter egg with friends, and my skill at the time. This was when I was the happiest in my entire life. Thank you Treyarch, thank you Kevin Sherwood and Elena Siegman.

Just played the new map and found all the teddy bears. I had the biggest nerdgasm when heard Elena singing. So many memories! Flooding! :,)...Then, a rocket killed me lol.
I didn't know about the rocket. but I backed off as I knew that somithing similar to the map ascension would have happened. The rocket will hurt you in that map I think.
My Opinion: This is by far the best BO3 Easter Egg song. I love all the other songs from BO3, but nothing can beat this song. I always come back here to listen to this song because it always gives me the rush I need to get past through the day. Thank you Kevin!!!
Here we fucking go!! This is where zombies needs to get back too!! Back to its former glory!! The map!! The music!! All of Black Ops 2 zombies was tainted. With the great exception of Origins. And now we're back to what is Greta again!!

My personal opinion is that this is hands down the best original COD: Zombies song produced. The vocals, the epic guitar solos, the drums going HAM, all of it is great.

@@darkryx4354 when it released no body liked it because it was way too confusing introducing way different features unlike origins, but when people got used to confusing maps people started to like it more

Holy Christ this song hits different than most others. I’m 27, getting cross faded and feeling nostalgic as hell listening to this song and honestly all of the heavy hitters since BO1. It’s incredible to me that an accident side mode spawned such incredible music. I will forever love this track and those that came before (and after) it!

December 25th 2015, that’s the date I got my ps4. The first game I played on it was bo3. I still remember the first time I ever played. “Sniff” Even tho I didn’t realize it, December 25th 2015, was the day that I got a console that I would make 100’s of friends on, lose many friends, and play when I’m feeling down, and forever live on. The date is July 4th 2022, and I still have the same ps4. When I get the ps5, I will never forget what my ps4 did for me.
Jesus Christ. I heard this song again for the first time in 3 years and I burst into tears. This song described how I felt during a difficult time in my life. I never thought I’d make it to the other side of that dark time. I never thought I’d be here 4 years later.

In 2015, I was a sophomore in High School this map was pretty big of course Kevin and Elena were my first tastes into metal since the Black Ops days with 115. During that year and the reign of BO3, I was dating a person for a while who (still is my 2nd longest relationship, but my current one is 6x longer) I really liked, they dumped me the day before Spring Break in front of all my friends. It broke my whole character, and made me super embarrassed and paranoid, which is Superficially whinny in hindsight, but it did more than just break my heart at the time, it brought forth all the negative things about myself that I had no knowledge that made me insecure, this breakup ruined my high school experience and I acted unstable and insane trying to fill the void, I ended up hating this person for a long time, until like 4 years ago where I apologized to this person and buried the hatchet. That spring break in 2015, I grinded the hell outta bo3. I already had Dark Matter at that point, and I grinded the Hero gear for the specialists and played Zombies. This song reminds me of my return to school because this song dropped and I identified with it in a sad way, and I vividly remember a day where I stood outside of school on my favorite stump, and it was raining that spring rain and hearing through my headphones “Am I dead? Is it all over? There is no pain here.” It’s one of those memories I have that remind me of sadness, but I love this song I just can’t listen to it often because of the hellish memory attached to it. These two make bad ass songs and they are a staple and the origin to my evolution of musical taste. 🤘🏻😎

This is the second best zombies song, second only to Archangel. The level of musicianship is insane in these songs. It's a shame the average cod player will never recognize just how amazing these songs actually are,
I'm basing my opinion on musicality, technicality, and structure, and Archangel was an opus. So great. This song was really interesting with it's 12/8 (if im correct) verses and chorus. The other songs are good, but grow stale. Especially BoA and the Bo2 songs. Still great songs though.

Hey Kevin, long time since release, but I just wanted to say that this song in particular is just tremendous and so perfectly fitting. I love everything about it and it is the go to song I think of when it comes to zombies. It perfectly encapsulates Der Eisendrache and the story, but also leaves the listeners awestruck with a feeling of creativeness and that they will prevail. Idk about anyone else, but this song gets me pumped and super motivated. Thank you for the many years of beautiful soundtracks and the nostalgia you’ve given thousands of kids growing up.
