I think everyone is agreed on Colin just being a bit forced into the show and not that interesting. Honestly they have such great new characters in Sister Sage and Firecracker that I want to see way more of, they have not done a good job of establishing Colin outside of just being the love interest of Frenchie, which came out of nowhere. I mean its pretty basic fact that ur audience is not gonna like a new character that undercuts and gets in the way of Frenchie and Kimiko’s relationship, which developed over multiple seasons, and who are both fan-favourites.

This show lacks Damian. I miss Damian. GET DAMIAN

By the end of episode 3, it felt like I was watching The Boys. The best season was 2 (it usually is, with these big shows). It does feel like "obligatory viewing".

I didn't notice the change in StarLights appearance, probably because I was more distracted by the change in Mothers Milk's appearance.

Feel free to take your time putting stuff out. I wish more people would. I can barely keep up with all the podcasts and channels I'm subscribed to.

I'm hoping The Boys picks up a bit when Butcher finds the virus. We keep having one scene that works, followed by another that doesn't. When some solid bits of plot occur it's great, but when the characters are deep in conversation it's really not working. As for Starlight's face, I think she looks like a female grim reaper, it actually freaks me out a bit

Seem to remember the wife in Breaking Bad's appearance changing in an indefinable way, between two of the seasons.

Did you two watch "Invincible" season 1 and 2? Cause if not, then that show is what I hoped "The boys" was going to be. Far more interesting, intelligent, and so far the story is progressing each season.

You probably have already heard this, but if you liked "the boys", you'll love "invincible". It's stayed consistently good as the seasons progressed.

I really hope that they let The Boys end with s5. Because, while I enjoy the show more than you two. I do agree that not having an end in sight does hold the writers back. With a set ending, characters can finally have conclusive arcs. Be it gruesome gory deaths or just laying down arms to not fight anymore. And Homelander can finally snap completely to try to take over the world. Though, I guess they gave to hold off on that one as long as possible. Because so much of the fun of Homelander is seeing him on that edge, barely holding on, trying so desperately to not kill whatever is annoying him. Maybe he and his kid can simply run off to fight the Viltromites. I guess, if they want to continue, they could do spinoffs like Gen V. Though, even that show does feel like it's mainly just R rated X-Men. I don't know.. I just prefer stories that... End.

Agree totally with Season 4. It's so boring. Fast forward every time certain things came on, like the gay side plot, the mute girl facing her past AGAIN, Hughie having trauma AGAIN, Ryan being a total milksop with feelings. Yawn. And all the shock value violence and naked penises on screen will not save it from lame writing

The Boys is a bit of a rip off of Watchmen but I have been enjoying it this far. I just know that with it being a US show it will get strung out for as long as possible and then just given up on unfinished when viewing figures drop.
