Yes, thank you for the video !!! Enjoy your perspective on silencers…. My LGS was running a deal on the Primal this week. So I went ahead purchased one, and now after watching your video I feel like I bought a good “do more can”
Thanks man, glad you approve of my style 😎👊🏻 I like that “do more can” term. I might steal that 😉 You’ll enjoy the Primal I’ll bet. It’s really a pretty slick can. Kinda big but for it’s intended purpose it’s very suitable. And on 45 ACP it’s fantastic 😱
On the “smaller” projectiles it seems the can adjusts a bit for the first few rds then suppresses really well. Basing it on the sound test (mind you being behind the gun is different) the 300 BO Subs, the 9mm and the .45 sounded best to me. Just got approved for mine. Thx for the walk through.
Just purchased one a few days ago (will be my first suppressor), I looked at several 45 cans to run on my Henry .44 mag and ultimately decided on the primal due to its ability to suppress just about anything. I don't have plans to run it on anything else at the moment but, in the event that I wanted to throw it on another rifle I know it will handle anything I currently own. Thanks for a great review.
I been looking for a 3-lug for the primal, but nobody has them. I found a YHM 3-lug on sale, but wasn’t sure it would work on it. Well now I know and heading out today to pick it up before it’s gone. Thanks for the video extremely informative.
picking up my Primal tomorrow. almost 5 months with E-file stoked!!! I picked up my Sig MODX45 three days ago that was almost a year to date for that stamp.
Sounds like it’s your week man 🤙 Those sound like pretty common times up here in AK as well. I just had some folks paper forms come back just over a year 🗓️
@@CalebDowning have any plans on doing an Otter Creek Polonium ? I didnt see any on your page and was wondering what You thought about it. Got my Primal today too 🙌
Thanks for waiting to put this video out. Everyone was rushing to put their videos on the primal out there was no real sense of actual repor with it. Mine is still in jail. Should be in my hands by December.
Good review 👍, I appreciate the different caliber comparisons at the end of the video. I got my Primal last month, shooting it with my 7.62 rifles. Hoping Dead Air will get a .45 3-lug adapter so I can use with my B&T soon.
Thanks man 👊🏻 You can wait for Dead Air to make a 45 cal 3-lug or you can get the “1.125-28 TPI” adapter from JKArmament and the 45cal 3-lug from SilencerCo (AC2448) 🤷♂️
I just started getting into the suppressor game. picked up the Primal (waiting, lol) for the all around aspect of it. Most everything I have will run the limits of it's capability for calibers. Hoping it lives up to all I've been researching on it. This video helped out a lot. Thanks.
Currently waiting 4 months for my primal. Hopefully I’ll get it within the next month. Bought it basically to suppress my CMMG banshee chambered in 45acp.
Thanks man 👊🏻 Best thing to do what your waiting for a can to get out of NFA jail is just to forget about it. The more you think in it the longer it’ll feel. But at 9 months, you should be getting pretty close to the end 🤞
The Primal is the quietest hands down, so that one is going to be more pleasant and fun. The Omega 45k still sounds good and is smaller if you want to have a more compact overall setup. That Primal sounds so dang good on my 45 that it’s be hard not to just get one 👌
I sent dead air a message asking if they are still including wrenches. My wolfman didn’t and I haven’t found a dealer yet that shows that the primal includes them. I’ll let you know what I hear back.
I’d be interested to hear what they say 🤔 Mine(in the colorful packaging) didn’t come with wrenches but the new ones I’ve seen in the black packaging did come with them.
Very nice. Thank you. Mine is in jail but should be out at some point in January. What handguard do you have on your .300blk. The Primal seems to fit just right inside. Thank you !
I appreciate the encouragement man 👊🏻 Sounds like your almost there 🤞 The handguard is a “no name” knock off quad rail. You can get the same thing on eBay just search “free float quad rail” and you should see it.
Man I have a TBAC fly 45 in jail for FNX 45 Tactical and my Henry X 45-70. I want Another 45 can specifically for my Henry but I don't really want double the weight of the FLY 45 but the primal is like half the price. Tough choices
The Primal is a big can, I’ll say that. It’s also a pretty versatile and capable can. On 45 ACP it’s ridiculous quiet and super fun. Something about it’s design allows it to really kick in to overdrive when shooting high pressure rounds like 30-06, 45-70. So it’s big, it’s kind of heavy but it’s effective and quiet. I’m a Dead Air fan boy so it would be an easy choice for me. It if checks the boxes of your needs then go for it 🤔👌
Yeah I have a sandman s and nomad Ti and love the nomad/primal type baffles on the higher pressure rounds. Just have a hard time with weight nowadays. If it's not an OSS device i love DA Xeno though, and I'm down to just one keymo which I want to Xeno my sandman real bad.
@Caleb Downing cool vid and thanks for the info none the less heard regular supressors do a number on the x95 in a short round count so if this one helps with overgassed rifles i might have to look into it. 😁
