I think the Corvette is more to blame. He should've left enough space for the lmdh to rejoin. I know it's the overtaking parts' job to overtake clean, but the lmdh was already past anyway, whether it was on or off track doesn't matter. The Chevy saw it happen and chose to get on the race line anyway.

Agreed. He had the lmdh on the outside but ignored that he was there and practically took a normal line. 100% on the Corvette.

I am the LMP2 at 5:51 , I scared myself so much there, but I noticed that was netcode, so nothing do to. And at 13:44 that was our LMP2 being hitted by that pink LMP2. I was so pissed off, because that guy has 9.7k and cant just understand that his car is completely broken and he had to park it and tow. But nevermind, we went to next session and finished P3, great race!

4:50 that wasn't bad netcode. They were definitely going to hit. IMHO being a few inches off on an imminent hit isn't bad netcode because it's correctly predicting the hit. bad netcode is only when the cars weren't going to hit but they do.

7:20 yes the LMDH is off the track but the Corvette would be able to see they're going to come back on, but continues to drift across the track into the LMDH. Even if the LMDH didn't rejoin, it honestly looks like the Corvette is going to drive into them regardless. You don't need to allow them back on but you're in a slower class, be clever, you gain nothing by forcing them to lift to come on behind you and overtake you again. Lift, let them on, carry on. Potentially wouldn't have had the second spin moments later either.

5:47 even in sim racing the yellow Caddy still can't catch a break and not have an incident in a race. Apart from Laguna Seca their luck this year has been terrible so why anyone would run that specific livery is against me.

best crash was that massive mid-air spin one without doubt ^^ The net-code ones are becoming concerning though. True fact, New Zealand has better internet than Australia on average.

I wouldn't call it luck to save the spin from your POV; the Caddy has really been a godsend of a car to save from going full spin mode. My team rallied in the gravel twice on the road to our win and I had it happen twice. It's a dream pick.

The netcode on the old damage model is a lot worse compared to he new one. Had the same at the N24 and here.
