@@richardbunting1031 Van Zandt's single "Dead Flowers" dates from 1993. The Stones recorded it in 1971 on their album "Sticky Fingers" . I believe you are mistaken about the original composer/authors.

@@chadwellnolan433 i‘m afraid you‘re wrong. It‘s been written by Jagger/Richards for „Sticky Fingers“ 1971. Townes Van Zandt included a version of the song on his album of live covers.

There’s nothing wrong with having cheat sheets when you’re performing and if you were observant you would have noticed he wasn’t reading the music. I’ve been a Stones fan since the 1960’s and thought they sounded pretty damned good. You want to be constructive then that’s cool, but be respectful
