Trust me, loosing your mind is basically obligatory to complete the game. You *need* to lose a little bit of yourself to reach and complete 5BC (this is coming form someone who indeed finished 5BC multiple times)
From my experience, and expressed in the subreddit, there’s a huge difficulty ledge of 3BC. It was by far the hardest for me to clear. 4bc was less so. Trying to beat 5bc has been…rough😂
Nice to see another whip sword enjoyer, doing just one swing and switching mid combo dealing two fast strikes absolutely demolishing any mob that tries to attack you while also using predator mutation is so darn fun :D
I beat 0bc without assist mode, and I was proud of my persistence and patience, and when I heard about people playing 5bc I thought it was a joke and people just cheat. Since I am a wuss I will continue to cheat until I get the true ending, but this game is too fun to just never play again.. so maybe I’ll try it someday without cheating, and then I can sue Dead Cells for putting me in the hospital, these are honestly relatable, very good content man, you deserve more
Love this game. I played 80 hours on my switch lite and was hard stuck at 1bc. Then switched to ps5 and did 1bc first try only to be stuck in 2bc now..
dear god that clip of 2bc sepulcher hurt my soul, incase you don't know this yet, you should always focus on one scroll color for a run, alternating scrolls will give higher hp but that will only allow you to survive 2-3 hits extra in most cases, and it's much better to just kill enemies before they can attack than to hit an enemy a dozen times but then get hit and possibly die because you took too long to kill it
I’ve been learning to use only one but it usually varies from run to run. Sometimes I get all the brutality scrolls and power scrolls and sometimes I get a ton of survival/tactics scrolls lol
@@Sgav19 the way the game works is that it will give you many dual scrolls that don't have your highest scroll stat, when that happens just pick the one that gives the highest hp as there's no point in having two colors that are high (colorless items or items that scale with two colors only scale with the highest of those two colors, they won't benefit from all colors or anything), and brutality is good but you should try the other colors too sometime (maybe when you have more weapons unlocked since the majority of early unlocks are brutality) Tactics mostly has long ranged high dps weapons, but in higher difficulties their low health causes them to die in 1-2 hits so it's usually best to keep a long distance from enemies and pick them off from afar Survival mostly has slow heavy hitting weapons which can either be melee or ranged and it has alot of hp so it can survive like 5-6 hits in higher difficulties + it has lots of defensive mutations, it's not very easy to use as you need to learn enemy patterns so you know when you can safely attack, but most of the time, if you land a hit without getting hit yourself, it's very satisfying and will deal ALOT of damage (usually enough to 1-2 shot most regular enemies) Brutality usually has fast attacking melee weapons and has a very aggressive playstyle, it's pretty good for beginners since it has a decent amount of hp and has lots of unlocks that are easily obtainable early on
