Dead Island 2 Review: It SURPRISED Me! 

I remember playing the original dead island on the Xbox 360 back in the day. I would come home from school just waiting to hop back in as Sam B and smash some heads with wooden oars. Going back and playing now it's crazy how much it scared me. I'm really hoping to give this game a play in the future. Seeing this footage gives me loads of nostalgia but also blows my mind with how far tech has come, especially the dismemberment. Anyways, fantastic review as always, can't wait for the next one!

Thanks for the review! I was not thinking I would want to play this game even if I loved Dead island 1 because it seem to be a smaller world and a smaller game as a whole, but you changed my mind! The gore is crazy good. Im also big dying light 1 and 2 fan so I would definitely love to play Dead Island 2 right now, but I don't have the money even if I got time because im out of work following big health problems. Anyway, bravo for the video! You help me feeling a little better with each of those.

Great review, not played it yet, still trying to complete dying light 2…. Hopefully I will get this at some point, I’m a bit saddened it’s not fully open world tho , I love a good open world zombie game, but I’m hoping to get this at some point as I’m a zombie nut

Great Review, Man!! Dead Island 2 is the biggest surprise this year. It came out pretty much bug-less and the performance is actually optimized (rare for this age of gaming) The gore is amazing and the game just looks to be just good fun without the bullshit. Sadly, I don’t have the game. Not opposed to getting a copy from you, though :D

The fact that this game actually survived development hell, tells so much of the love for the franchise. This was probably the best zombie game of the generation that baptized me as a gamer, so it really excites me to see this sequel receive so much love. Kudos to the developers. Hope is indeed the last to die, or maybe the zombies are...

Man, between this and Jedi Survivor;its bonkers that this was a more optimized and complete than Respawns game. And to think we saw DI2 firet trailer almost a dacade ago lol

Rented it for the PS5 but couldn't afford it at the time for the system... It seems like even though they've taken the same route of the first 2 games, it apparently runs and looks better. Despite those reflections in the mirrors lol

I've been waiting for years for this game and honestly I'll take it like obviously it's not the best but it's not the worst it's simple and blatant so I'm not mad it's still a buy for me 100%

This game is trash the worst zombie game I’ve ever played the weapons that you get don’t do any damage it’s almost Impossible to progress in the game because you can’t defeat the zombies that your face and then you can die in one or two this game is awful not one it’s just garbage nothing more to say especially when the guns don’t do any damage it literally takes five shotgun blast to kill a regular zombie
