Dead of Winter Soundscape 

So here's a story. I walk the perimeter of the golf course that is next to my house every day, unless there is a bad storm or something. I usually use ear buds and listen to stuff on RU-vid while on these walks. A few years back, I was walking the course after a bad snowstorm, and saw this as an option in my feed. I had no idea that Dead of Winter was a game, so I just took the title for its literal meaning. It seemed like an interesting ambient track to listen to while trudging through actual snow in the actual dead of Winter. And it was. But that first zombie at 7:48 sure startled me because I was walking alone, next to the woods, in a field of snow, far from any roads or other people, and for a moment I wasn't quite certain if what I was hearing was coming from outside the earbuds... When I figured it out I laughed, and left the track on for the rest of my walk, enjoying the creepy ambience and maybe looking over my shoulder more than once... just to be sure.

7:48-zombie nearby 35:58- Glass break, run away, zombie eats man 37:28-gun shootout 42:45-Piano intensifies w/zombie breathing.

this adds so much to the feel of the game, thank you. Keeps tensions high and zombies at the windows, I'll be using this every time

I use this every time I play the game. Next time I will time stamp some of the effects so people can click on them for different crossroad scenarios.

Used this 2 days ago, brilliant job man! We even played another game and restarted it. Excellent job!

I was just looking for a empty winter snow storm kind of background noise- I wasn't ready for zombie noises

I didn’t play the game, but I had this in the Background of a FAR cry 5 Custom map where I had to liberate an outpost in the snow at night time, and this was very good for using stealth

I appreciate large chunks of this soundtrack, used it last night in fact but some of it is a little on the cheesy side and damn, playing via on my phone via Sonos last night - those ad breaks really break the immersion

Crossroads Card Activated! "Toxic Waste" (If a Survivor the Player controls is at The Colony.) "I told that lazy jerk to get the Fuel and Medical Waste off site. So, guess what he didn't do. God only knows what's leeching into the ground now. Is our water supply contaminated? How about the garden? And of course, now its Colder than a Snowman's Balls outside, and we have to go clean that crap up." Every Player with one or more Survivors at The Colony must Vote with a Thumbs Up or Down. The Option with the Most Votes takes effect. "Thumbs Up Option" Each Player must place a Frostbite Wound on a Survivor they control at The Colony. "Thumbs Down Option" Place all Fuel and Medicine Cards that have been removed from the game into the Waste Pile.

So relaxing till the bird caws.

Can anyone suggest a similar soundtrack for zombie gaming with just the spooky atmospheric music and weather noise? This one is good but the bangs, crashes and zombie noises don't really work for me.

While existing a bad snowstrom outside , this creepy the place aswell to walk enough to be dificil for both me and for other peoples , in this hard weather l shouldnt go to outside nor nowhere . I wait is finished of very hard the snowstorm .
