Mate... i came back from a horrendous night shift, just remembered this theme and found it, im moshing like a madman with a glass of wine on my hand. SUCH A TUUUNE!!! This guy was badass!!!!! having such a great time right now THANK YOU
Love seeing comments like yours. Nothing like revisiting a old theme. I gotta punch some mofos out as Ein some time on my ps2. I was sooo good at this game : )
Best char in the game. Sure he's easy to counter but he's soo fast, soo strong, and soo easy to use that it makes up for it. Soo many of his attacks are instant make you fall down or fly across the room too. You just feel like a total bad ass that's OP af when playing as him.
I remember this tune playing in the demo for this game back in one of those Dreamcast magazines back in the day. Me and just friend would play the demo constantly for this theme alone.
They should give them the same English Voice Actors fully dubbed in Dead Or Alive 2 Dead Or Alive 3 & Dead Or Alive 4 from just like Dead Or Alive 5 & Dead Or Alive 6
Can't blame ya... Haven't played doa one so I can't comment if he's even a ninja in that game... But in part 2 he just knew karate and was HELLA GOOD AT IT. Funny right? Karate is one of the most basic forms of combat and he's like the best char in the game. Easy to use and super fast/powerful. Easy to counter sure, but the good outweighs the bad. And any decent player would eventually master the ability to counter any characters attacks so it didn't really matter that much in the end. In part 3 he's a ninja again. And basically a weaker version of hayabusa or the ninja gals. He kind of sucked lolz. Thankfully you could unlock his karate version when beating the game with all chars and typing ein into the name roster for survival mode. DOA 3 was only on xbox so that meant you had to play the game with a crappy xbox d pad and that suuucked lol. Thankfully you can buy a adaptor that allows you to use a ps2 controller. Best fighter ever made at that point! Then newer DOA games decided to market the more sexy costumes through dirty micro transactions. Pretty nasty way to be greedy honestly. And the counters, which are what made the fighter different from mortal kombat, killer instinct, rage, virtua fighter, tekken, and soul caliber etc etc... Sadly when DOA 4 on up happened... They made the counters harder to pull off and ultimately less effective. That SUCKED! I LOVED being so good at the game that I could just abuse counters to defeat my enemy. Nothing felt more powerful than making your opponent essentially hit themselves over and over again. Whatever though. RIP DOA.... Still love part 2 and 3 though : )
It’s because Ein’s moveset is just so much better. Every time I play Hayate I’m reminded that losing his memory was the best thing that happened to him.
***** Yeah, I just got Last Round for PC and I actually love it, despite the horrendous flaws of no online play and the fact that it's missing a stage or two. Other than that, it runs great, and has plenty of characters. I think the guest addition of Virtua Fighter characters really boosted its credibility a bit. Playing as Akira on the DOA engine is so much more fun than it has any right to be. lmao
One of my favorite characters in DOA but to me Ein is the real winner of the 2nd Tournament since he’s got the most focus since the Kasumi, Ryu, Ayane and Helena knows him imo.
“HAYATE, SHINOBI OF THE WIND! I AM A FREE SOUL!” This song on Ein’s ending+That specific line of dialogue= A big part of my life. Found this game at 13 just looking for anime tiddies, and then Ein and that line come outta nowhere and give me an ideal of manhood to aspire to.
I like part 3 slightly more but only if I get to play it on the xbox with a ps2 controller adaptation. EF using the orig xbox controller d pad lol. WAYYY too easy to accidently push diagonal. But I did start with doa2 hardcore as my very first ps2 game and it will ALWAYS hold a place in my heart as one of my fav gaming experiences ever. Also I think doa2 music is better than any other doa game.
So here i am decided to do another Sifu playthrough. This time i wanted to get all the best fight music of my videogame childhood memories. This is one of it.
When I first heard this in Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate, I was like "This sounds like something from Sega...like Sonic Adventures." Then I find out it's actually from Dead or Alive 2, which is from Sega's Dreamcast. My hunch was correct.
xxIchiron47xx Well it did come out on Dreamcast, thats much is true. But i dont know about your correlation between it & Sega (sounding like sonic) given the game came out in arcades first, and was ported to both the dream-cast and playsyation2. The ps2 soundtrack sounds almost identical if not very similar. I mean, this was very much DOA's sound back in the day. It whould bare to reason that DOA5 sounds completely different. Perhaps its just a case of crossing nostalgia beams ;)
shotoclone DOA2 was released on the Naomi, which is practically the arcade version of the Dreamcast Also the PS2 version of DOA2 doesn't exist. I repeat, IT DOES NOT EXIST. Only the Dreamcast and Xbox versions
i know but 3 and 4 ein started to dress like tomonobu and also tecmo felt like there shouldn't be two of the same character especially if there's also a character who also knows karate *hitomi*
Dead Or Alive 1 For Playstation 1 And Xbox 160 Dead Or Alive 2 Dead Or Alive 3 And Dead Or Alive 4 For Playstation 2 And Xbox 260 Dead Or Alive 5 Dead Or Alive 6 Dead Or Alive 7 Dead Or Alive 8 Dead Or Alive 9 And Dead Or Alive 10 For Playstation 3 And Xbox 360
from what i remember Ein was made from tomonobu's apperence and he left tecmo soon after ninja gaiden 2 was released. so tecmo got rid of him cause they didn't want any thing to do with tomonobu and any characters that resempled him
Hayate is much more similar to Kyo Kusanagi from The King Of Fighters Series Yuegoe Ogami from The Bloody Roar Series & Ike from The Super Smash Brothers Series & The Fire Emblem Series
