One of the most underrated movies of the 90s. I don’t know why it is so overlooked it’s a classic.

Dead Presidents (1995) is one of the most greatest hood movies of all time. The story, performance's, music, screenplay, direction, action sequences, and cinematography was spectacular and phenomenal. The theme and concept represents the struggle of returning war veterans who are neglected by the U.S. government such as not getting no recognition, credibility, achievements, benefits, honors, awards, acknowledgement, admiration, likeability, devotion, and adoration. It also teaches you a powerful and valuable life message to make good decisions and choices that will impact your destiny in life. I recommend this movie to any young individual that is uncertain or confused about their future as they will go on the wrong path of destruction. It was decent. To this day I still watch it and I consider it a classic. It never gets old.😍😎💯👍

Wow...nostalgic! This was when movies were truly written instead of using special effects to entertain moviegoers. Nothing like a film with a "Real" storyline to captivate an audience. CLASSIC!

This movie was partly based on a real guy named Haywood T. Kirkland, whose true story was detailed in the book Bloods: An Oral History of the Vietnam War by Black Veterans by Wallace Terry.

This movie is so hardcore I watched it for the first time last year. A movie that stays with you long after its over. It’s completely and utterly heartbreaking.

I haven't seen "Dead Presidents" trailer since right before it's release twenty years ago until now. It's still electrifying to watch and to hear some of the greatest SOUL music ever recorded. People if you don't have it do yourselves a favor and buy "DEAD PRESIDENTS" and "DEAD PRESIDENTS" volume #2 soundtracks you won't be disappointed.

Classic film. Larenz at his best. We looked alike so much back then when this flick came out. I still remember my boys would tease me. Everytime some shit went wrong, they'd be yelling Anthony! SMH. Lol. That was good storytelling, the hero suffered so much. The good guy that lived long enough to see himself become the villain.

One of the best films of the nineties but a tragic social tapestry about the social ills of economic recession , racism , bigotry , the black war heroes served our country and came back home to find zero work it’s just completely heartbreaking the veteran loess his coveted butcher job because the Jewish owner has to close down because of the economic downturn . And nostalgic? A Black Lincoln Continental 4 door with suicide doors and Keith David as the driver and all wise neighborhood hustler looking out for his Brothers ? It’s just like beyond perfection it deserves MUCH MORE recognition but the Hughes Brothers filmed all the pain agony and suffering of the human condition no one wants to “see it “. 👑🇺🇸👑🇺🇸👑🇺🇸

The ending of this movie is so sad but so damn good even with me knowing the ending of the movie after watching it since I was a kid this trailer gives me chills. Also a great chris tucker performance without him really being that funny dont get me wrong he has some funny scenes in the movie but overall his character is so dark and sad. Classic movie and trailer though

Ahhhh, Finally i find this movie! For the longest I thought I imagined it. All I remembered as a kid was seeing some clips of a film where people in white face paint were robbing er rather waiting/tracking down someone they were tryna rob. It was so eerie I could swear for the longest I remembered it being about kids who lived in sewers and pit pocketed and sometimes rob lol. Then just yesterday I see an ad of the cover/poster for streaming the classic film from Hulu or something on Instagram, and here I am searching up the trailer. Was waiting for some person in face paint IN a sewer like area and this confirms it. Mystery finally frkn solveddd 😂👌
