Here's an idea for Dead Rising 5, which is called Dead Rising 4X and completely overrides the existence of Dead Rising 4. It starts with DR4 Frank West stumbling down the road in a drunken stupor. He says something that isn't funny, and then gets plowed over by a car. The camera zooms into the car, revealing DR1/CW Frank West, who comments "Man, that was an ugly zombie... I thought we got that whole thing cured.". Then later there's another zombie outbreak and everyone's freaking out because they thought they cured that shit. Even Nick shows up and is like "What the fuck?". Chuck and Isabela also show up and are like "What the fuck?". And in the end it's revealed that the new zombie outbreak actually has nothing whatsoever to do with Carlito, Santa Cabeza, the Government, Dr. Barnaby, or anything. It was aliens. Aliens caused the new zombie outbreak for alien reasons. Possibly not even on purpose. And after it's revealed, Nick says "Son of a bitch, I guess that one woman was on to something.", in reference to Kyla of the side mission "Don't Look Now", who became convinced that the zombie outbreak was caused by aliens. Also before the game starts there's a blurb that says "The post credits sequence of Dead Rising 3 is non-canon. If you don't know what that means, don't worry about it.". Would also be funny to have a Survivor who's set up as a Psychopath. Cutscene and everything, but at the point where the fight would start, they stop what they're doing and say something like "You know what? This isn't the time or place for this, and this is really unbecoming behaviour. I'm sorry, what did you want again?" and you just take them to the safe house. Later, the inverse joke occurs where you're talking to a Survivor who either turns out to be or gets unceremoniously mowed down by a Psychopath who has no intro cutscene, but has a post-battle cutscene.

I like the detail that two of the survivors are the other two guys from the TIR locker room. They have experience dealing with zombies so they get to live.

While slot machines don't yield money when broken, any slot machines with money in front of them will always pay out when played.
